Not to discount Mr. Trump's win, but to call it a tsunami is ridiculous. He won on the basis of 1% wins in Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin while losing the popular vote by the largest amount of any winning candidate in history (over 2.1 million) and having the third lowest percentage of the popular vote of any winner behind John Quincy Adams' 30% in 1824 and Bill Clinton's 43% in 1992, and at least Bill Clinton won the popular vote. If that's a tsunani, I'd hate to see a trickle.
Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Vista, also continued to maintain his advantage over Democratic challenger Doug Applegate. Through Wednesday, returns from Orange and San Diego counties showed that Issa was ahead by 3,003 votes.
San Diego County has an estimated 86,000 mail-in and provisional ballots still to be counted, while Orange County has nearly 49,000 to count. It’s not known how many of the uncounted ballots are in the supervisorial or congressional districts.
I find it highly suspicious that two weeks past the election they are still counting.
Some conspiracy theorist interviews a wing nut and, voila!, a new fact is born. The story gets no traction except in the tin-foil hat community on this forum...nit-witness news.
