You do know, don't you, that the "poor, uneducated Middle Americans" are not going to be running the country? It will be done by a businessman from New York.

Awful nice of you to condescend to them, though. Do you think we should send canned goods to them?

Not so. I am giving your canidate the benefit of the doubt. Two years of support. However, based on his choices so far for the cabinet, I am less then confident. But he will get no hard criticism for two years from me.

I'm sure I will be criticizing him way before two years.

I will resist the temptation. I will give him more of a chance that those here gave Oboma.

Wow. So many just up and left after the election. What I did notice was how some of the die hard Hillary fans , did come back, with what amounted to turn coat behavior, it was appalling, they were called out on it and never returned again. Exactly the true nature of a Hillary fan, to always try and save face no matter what. Even go against the person they supported for so long. Anything to save some pride and appearance.

One member, no longer here, the moment Trump was announced the winner, got on this forum , with a change of heart post. For weeks denounced him as a racist, bigot etc.. then when he won , took a shot at the media for their unfair coverage. Classic Liberal snake behavior.

This.

If you are old enough, go back in time to when GWB was elected and beloved. Feelings ebb and flow.

I occasionally still see yellow ribbons on some SUVs around my town. But most ignore he was ever POTUS

Well, when you only comment one part of my whole paragraph then you may not get the whole idea. For many, yes, we probably should send food to Middle America. They clearly need help. I imagine they prefer we put immigrants on trains back to their own country. Aside from being a marketing disaster for the US it is not going to be sanctioned by the big corporations that make more money off cheap labor. You know you are in trouble when your completion is illiterate peasants from Mexico.

Talking newly elected leader

Sometimes you elect a leader and never know who you're going to get until they're in office.

That was awesome!

Liberals are a lot of fun to play with when they lose.
