OP is trying to paint the Obama years as a period of mass immigration from Mexico, which is another lie of course. Immigration from Mexico is low these days.
If it's terrible for Mexico then Trump should have no trouble scrapping NAFTA all together.

Jesus, don't you people realize that the era of false bravado is over for you? You are wrong. Net movement is back to Mexico because of declining birthrates and increased opportunty in Mexico vis a vis the United states. These things are factual.

I was kind enough to post the link to try to teach you that Obama did try to open the gates, there just is no flood anymore.

I can show you, I can't see it for you.

NAFTA has been bad for Mexico, especially its farmers. It needs to be renegotiated. Anxious to see that happen.

Massive infrastructure projects more blue collar minorities working and reaping rewards for their hard work. New Trump voters. Most only care about the wage the make and the standard of living for their families. Look for more working class Blacks and Hispanics now voting for Trump. Their White counterparts are doing so as well. Expect to see work to be the great unifier across the land.

The Democrat party will defiantly keep the power bases located on the coasts. As the mid west is abuzz with construction work and factories coming back, NY and Ca. will talking about having National Illegal Immigrant day or protecting rapists in their Sanctuary Cities.

While they are at it, ensure Obama is around so much we all tire of him. Even the legacy of the smooth nice guy with the endless charm, will go soon enough, as stays in DC to live out what will become a nightmare in politics.
Identity politics which the Dems favor hasn't been particularly effective. If Trump helps improve the inner city employment numbers he may well peel away 20-25% of the Black vote and 35% of the Hispanic vote the next election.

If this happens the Dems will find themselves in very serous trouble.

Trump has also made it clear he's fine with gay marriage so the Reps might see an uptick in support from gay communities. And the Jewish vote hasn't been exactly thrilled with Obama so if Keith Ellison ends up DNC chair expect the Rep party to reap the benefits.

Of course Trump might blow it. However, if he doesn't and plays this right he can seriously damage the Dem party for a long time.

The democrats were hoping that with 8 years of Obama Presidency can inject another 8-15 million immigrants into the voting pool.

With the recent change of power, the country under Trump & GOP will need to reform Immigration in order to stay in power and keep the democrat's voting pool from expanding.

If Hillary Clinton had won, the flood gates will be open for her to issue citizenship like lollipop in order to flood the voting pool with immigrants and outcome the Republican party's control of government.
Disagree. This was the last dying gasp of white America desperately trying to keep a grasp of power. But soon we will be in the minority in the country and the world.

You will see. This country cannot be regressed to the 50s. Won't happen. Authoritarian desperate people believed a con man who said what they wanted to hear. Just like they did with Hitler and his ilk. Trump will make activists out the the majority of the country that do not like him or his policies. He got the vote of about 25% of the country. That's it.

Trump is not a republican. I remember hearing that frequently.

He is the leader of the GOP now but he isn't a republican. He sure is no Paul Ryan. We didn't elect a republican. We elected Donald J. Trump to oppose both republicans and democrats.

People that want to continue to pit one party against the other have a short memory. They are finding it difficult to break old habit's.

I guess it all depends on your definition of "low" and "mass".

October 2016 - 195 Per Day — Feds Release 6,051 Illegal Immigrant Kids Into US In Single Month

The first month of this fiscal year, October, saw 6,051 unaccompanied minors — or an average of about 195 a day — released to sponsors living in the U.S., according to figures released this week by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). Most sponsors are family members and in the country illegally themselves.

Nearly every state in the union received unaccompanied minors last month — the only states that did not were Vermont, Montana, Idaho and Alaska.

The top five receiving states were California (824), Texas (781), Florida (574), New York (572) and Maryland (471).

There is more to it as well: According to PBS on election night, Clinton performed 9% than Obama in Arlington and Fairfax County Virginia, which offset a 13% increase for Trump in the balance of the state. What happens to VA going forward if government employment is drastically reduced.

Which just goes to show that these private associations referred to as political parties are mostly a smokescreen to obfuscate one and the same thing, really a single establishment party behind whom real powerful people make real policy.

Having said that, the pendulum swings both ways, the electorate splits its ticket, so to speak, quite regularly, checks and balances still work as well as can be expected.

This time around, the electorate clearly wanted a change from the 30-year Bush/Clinton cabal; Obama was a slight step away, certainly better than the three previous administrations, but the cabal was still there, for a good part of the time in first person.

So now there is a further step away from the establishment at the top, but, for example, the so-called democrats still have filibuster power in the Senate, no small power, and the establishment can still, and most likely will, come in through the back door again, e.g. Bill Clinton's wife as Secretary of State then, possibly Mitt Romney as Secretary of State now.

In short, it is hard to get away and I don't expect the demise of either branch of the establishment party anytime in the foreseeable future.

The only real change occurs when powerful people decide to make real changes to real policies; front-stage theater doesn't really matter that much except as entertainment for drama queens.
