The end result of this election revealed that most Americans aren't happy with the direction of the country. The Democrats lost big everywhere away from the coastal areas.

The last 8 years of Obama's Administration has been a huge disaster for the middle class Americans because one of the Democrat's top goals has been to open the flood gates of immigration and in hopes to populate the Democrat's voting base and help the big companies stifle income growth. The democrats were hoping that with 8 years of Obama Presidency can inject another 8-15 million immigrants into the voting pool.

With the recent change of power, the country under Trump & GOP will need to reform Immigration in order to stay in power and keep the democrat's voting pool from expanding.

If Hillary Clinton had won, the flood gates will be open for her to issue citizenship like lollipop in order to flood the voting pool with immigrants and outcome the Republican party's control of government.

If memory serves Bush was pretty subservient to Vincente Fox.

Immigration has curbed itself because the great population booms of Mexico and South america are over, and because conditions have improved im Mexico because of NAFTA and the like.

Obama is an open borders guy, and was ruled against by the Supreme Court for his refuasl to enforce immigration laws. There is know way to mitigate this.

I think this marks the turning point for the globalists plan. I think the democrats were perfectly fine with a canned candidate like cruz getting in for 8 years. They never cried about their legacy when he was running.

It's pretty obvious the globalists are going to siege and stress out the country every single day of Trump's presidency. The people need to get together and fight back. Even if you don't like Trump or some of the things he might try to do you WILL like some of them so get behind them.

But Nafta has been terrible for Mexico. Economic growth has been lackluster and subsidized American corn has flooded the Mexican market, pushing the hicks south of the border to move north to the US.

Obama opening the floodgates of immigration from Mexico just isnt the reality. It was much higher under Bush.

This is simply not true but there is no point in arguing it. the FACT is that population increase South of the border has dropped like a rock. The era of big illegal immigration is over regardless of who is in office. You can look this up for yourself.

By the way, Bush was also a friend of illegal immigration, but not to the extent of Obama.

2016 was the grand turning point in Democrat fortunes going forward. Call it the beginning of a long period of GOP control , under Trump in virtually every area but the coasts.

2016 > Less illegal immigrants, less Democrat voters, more reluctant illegal immigrants to vote anymore with stricter voter regulations in the future. Massive infrastructure projects more blue collar minorities working and reaping rewards for their hard work. New Trump voters. Most only care about the wage the make and the standard of living for their families. Look for more working class Blacks and Hispanics now voting for Trump. Their White counterparts are doing so as well. Expect to see work to be the great unifier across the land.

The Democrat party will defiantly keep the power bases located on the coasts. As the mid west is abuzz with construction work and factories coming back, NY and Ca. will talking about having National Illegal Immigrant day or protecting rapists in their Sanctuary Cities.

While they are at it, ensure Obama is around so much we all tire of him. Even the legacy of the smooth nice guy with the endless charm, will go soon enough, as stays in DC to live out what will become a nightmare in politics.

You are very smug after being caught lying about how great NAFTA was for Mexico. Mexico's economic growth has been a disaster since NAFTA. Regarding population increase in Mexico, it is true that it has slowed down, but Mexico's population is still increasing by 1.5 million people per year.

OP is trying to paint the Obama years as a period of mass immigration from Mexico, which is another lie of course. Immigration from Mexico is low these days.
