At one time, dems did look out for Americans. These days neither party looks out for their constituents. Hopefully, things will start to turn around soon.
Democrats prospered due to higher education and the jobs that followed. The economies of the cities are strong and the cities benefit from education and diversity. When you look at the West Coast and the Northeast, they don't regard education as elitist. Companies looking for educated workers chose to locate in these cities so there are more jobs. Interestingly, Trump markets to blue locations, so it's no wonder he's focusing internationally now that his brand will be less popular in those same blue locations. As an example, Trump only received 8% of the vote in Seattle where there literally are not enough houses for the amount of people moving there so multiple offers without contingencies are common.
It's hilarious how liberals don't mind being gigantic hypocrites. They spend 100 years railing furiously against the rich, then suddenly when everyone realizes they were lying and they were the ones who were rich, they calmly turn around and go "well, actually, being rich reflects a higher level of education and rich people are better than other people, hence the Democrat party!" LMAO

Probably decades ago. Keep in mind that Democrats have always dominated government offices, particularly in major cities. Places like Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia, New York City, and Washington, DC, have been under Democrat control for 60-70 years in unbroken lines. The myth of the GOP being the party of the rich dates back to like the 1800s and has just been perpetuated in a giant lie by the left. Do you honestly believe backing hyper immigration (1 million legal immigrants into this country per year), refusing to secure the border and refusing to make E-verify the law of the land "is good for the little people"? What good is an increase in the minimum wage when unskilled Americans lose out to illegals? And all their talks about being concerned about the environment ring hollow when they encourage more and more people to come to this country.
This is where conservatives have to balance principles vs prosperity vs reality.
Democrats want to protect the border as well, but most illegals simply overstay their work visas so more border patrolmen isnt the answer, or at least it isnt going to solve the bulk of the problem.
e verify is time consuming, and lost productivity could hurt small businesses, and there truly is no benefit for those businesses other than the idea that they have done the american thing and hired someone who is fully on the up and up.
Then there is the idea of the work black market(paying people under the table tax free).

So you want America to become a third world hell hole? Poverty rates among the elderly will skyrocket if your Koch brothers agenda is implemented and you think this is good for the little guy? The Koch brothers dont care about you. They laugh at people who support their agenda and their puppets.
A third world hellhole is what you get. The policies you advocate can only be found in those third world countries. A tiny rich elite with enormous power over the political and economic system, a shrinking middle and a huge and desperate underclass with no access to proper education and health care. That is the oligarchy of your dreams and it is hell for ordinary folks.
