I did not read anywhere the poster mentioning this website in particular, bur rather a far-left fringe forum. Regardless, this theory is out there and covered by several sites:

MSNBC

Caddell: Recount Aimed at Delegitimizing Trump;

There are others. Google is your friend.

I'm on record predicting 8 years of Republican domination followed by a leftist back lash in 8 years. That's dependent on the Trump plans having some success. Trump has figured out a way around the highly biased media which every Republican going forward will need to employ to bypass the media. Social media is the way forward....by the time media outlets go with a story, it's already been discussed in social media and opinions set.

Almost none of the comments actually showed any concern for the people. After watching the news coverage today of people crying who can't find their loved ones, it's more than I can take. These liberal commenters have no soul.
Those people are pathetic, and 'karma will be a b' for them. After seeing television coverage of the fires, and then some pictures on the internet, my first reaction was one of compassion. Sadly, my second reaction (without reading the comments sections re ANY internet stories about the fire, and BEFORE reading your post above) was 'Will progressives anywhere in the U.S. be glad that this happened in a state that voted for Trump simply because the state voted for Trump? I don't know if you live in the Williamson County or Davidson County part of Brentwood, and I know Brentwood is 220-235 miles away from the fires, but some of those liberal commenters are feeding off of ignorant progressive stereotypes about TN and likely don't have a clue that Williamson County is one of the 20 wealthiest counties in the United States. I have some friends who live in Franklin (a married couple). He's a Nashville area native, and she's from California. I doubt proverbial wild horses could ever drag them out of Franklin (as a place to live), and definitely couldn't drag them out of Williamson County....and they can afford to live anywhere.

I heard via some form of media (I live in TX) that Dolly (through her foundation) is going to give the impacted families $1,000 per month (for each family/household) for as long as is necessary until they 'get back on their feet'. I think that is a wonderful gesture. I hope the chaos in the area is untangled ASAP, and that the flames are extinguished ASAP. Beyond human compassion for the losses, I hope you don't have any family in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, or the surrounding area that you personally have to worry about.

There is a poster (who posts to both P&OC and Elections) who claims that she wanted everyone to have health insurance and didn't mind paying more for her own insurance to secure that end.....but now that some of those voters in WI, MI, OH, and PA were responsible for Trump getting elected, that supposed concern for those people has evaporated. She doesn't want her tax dollars going toward them, and wouldn't mind if the U.S. broke up into multiple countries so that (among other reasons) her tax dollars didn't have to help people in such states. She's either truly concerned about the insurance plight of the people she's claiming she was concerned about, or she isn't. If that concern was conditional re supporting her preferred candidate for POTUS, then that concern wasn't real in the first place. It was faux concern....fake and insincere.

I know some will disagree, but the (D's) have not always been socialist minded. Many a (D) has left the party because the kooks in the basement [that could always be counted on for votes, but didn't have power within the party], have taken over.
Now they and their koolaid drinking followers will claim the (R's) have turned hard right. In reality that incorrect assertion is because of their warped perspective. They have turned so hard left, that any push back against them is perceived as _______ist this and ________phobe that.

They wont believe you when you tell them this, so just let them do the research to open their own eyes. They need look no further that when Bill Clinton was president in the late 90's. Look at his policies and the DNC platform back then, and compare it to today. Remember we are only talking about 16 years ago, not 50+. The (D's) have gone hard left compared with where they were.
Conversely, the (R's) have actually not changed that much since that same period of time, and even before. If anything, they have become more moderate, hence the reason the rank and file voters claim the "establishment Republicans" are all Republican In Name Only.

The point is that all conservative Democrats are gone, and the few moderates in Congress cannot even oust the woman who presided over the biggest losses for the party in close to 100 years.
Pelosi is a left wing loon from one of the most liberal cities in this country. Her views (nor the other leftists in the party) do not represent middle America or the typical Democrat that is not a "social justice warrior".
The once mighty (D's) have allowed the inmates to take over the asylum.

Many of them are good winners, but very sore losers. More importantly, their vile hatred is just below the surface and does not take too much to draw it out.
With the story you penned about the CD poster, it reminds me of many more famous and even prominent Democrats have said much worse.

For example, when a radio show called Air America was broadcast (now defunct), after Bush beat Gore, the hosts went insane. Good old Al Frankin (now a US Senator ) and the communist gnome Janeane Garofalo were ranting how racist and horrible all the inbred hicks across the country were to elect Bush.
But their caustic venom did not stop there. Instead they were talking about poisoning the water supply in red states to cause sterility among Republicans so they could not reproduce.
They went on to say they were just hastening the process, because inbreeding would do it eventually anyway.

Can you imagine if Rush or Hannity were to say such despicable vile things?
They'd likely be thrown off the air or maybe even arrested for promoting a terrorist idea of poisoning people via the water supply.
Franken at least had enough sense to say they couldn't do that, because of all the Democrats living in those red states that would also be effected. Garofalo then said they would provide enough time for them to move to CA, OR, NY and other states along the Canadian border. Then she proffered the idea od sessecion an having those states join Canada.

The point being that socialist/communist/anarchist radicals believe in any method, including creating chaos, mayhem and violence to achieve their warped ideological intentions. It is party over country, and win at any costs.
Sure, some of it is verbal bluster.
Yet there are enough who are willing to "take it to the streets" as witnessed by the recent riots over Trump winning.
They talk a good game, but turn out to be total hypocrites when they are on the losing side.

I didn't vote for Trump but I am definitely annoyed with all the democrats attacks on my race\gender demographic as being *bad* racists and women haters blah blah blah.

Exactly. Elizabeth warren did an amazing piece on the decline of the middle class a few years back.

..but she can't get through an interview without calling people bigots and racists and misogynists. Enough already with this crap.

We know that area well Brentwoodgirl. My husband retired out of law enforcement in a neighboring county. We know plenty of first responders and civilians in that area, know the mountains well, and are heartbroken for the people and for that beautiful region.

I hope people listen to the response of some progressives when it comes to these fires, and they finally begin to understand exactly what hate looks like. Real hate. The kind of hate that feeds off the death, destruction and heartbreak of others. It's not a pretty picture, and these people have so little self-awareness, empathy or humanity, that they don't even realize how ugly they are.

I've seen the videos but can't really even imagine what Gatlinburg looks like right now. And the mountains...........it'll take my lifetime and more for it to recover. Keeping everyone in that region in my thoughts for safety.

That's a direct quote from another forum, a left wing forum... did you even read what I posted before you commented?

Do any democrats on CD actually believe that this might work out in your favor? Are any of you willing to admit that this plan sounds good?
No, Democrats have to be very cautious on this issue. You don't want to come off as a sore loser or as not accepting the results of the electoral process. At the same time, if there is any evidence that voting machines were hacked, we need to know this.
The better strategy I have heard from some Democrats is to work with Trump in areas where they agree, such as infrastructure spending and middle-class tax cuts, in opposition to establishment Republicans. Drive a wedge between Trump and Republicans in Congress.
