The writer has drunk so much of the liberal kool-aid as he actually believes the following BS:
Mostly black or brown, these were the people at the very bottom of the totem pole, the ones Democrats strive to protect and Republicans see as a burden best left out in the cold. Even I, for all my fortune in life, was there among them in the hospital only thanks to the grace of progressive politics, with my Affordable Care Act marketplace health plan picking up the tab. He really believes that "Democrats strive to protect" minorities and those "at the very bottom of the totem pole". Yeah sure, of course they do!/sarcasm. That's why they fight tooth and nail to not secure the border and to amnesty millions of unskilled, functionally illiterate illegals. If democrats really strove to protect Americans "at the very bottom of the totem pole", then they would be fighting to get illegals out of the country and secure the border. It's those very same illegals that have displaced millions of unskilled Americans in the work force. If anything, democrats these days put illegals ahead of the millions of suffering underemployed and unemployed Americans. The fool who wrote that article should realize that all the democrat kool-aid has rotted his brain!
Ah...and then there is Obamacare. It's nice for him that he qualifies for cheap, subsidized health plans but what about the millions who have lost their insurance or those who can't afford their premiums?

This guy DOES need some serious Psychiatric Counseling - perhaps not in the bottom of the barrel Charity Mental Ward that is all that the Wondermous ObamaCare provides - AND he still believes that is a "great thing".
I seemed to be the only garden variety anxious-depressive in the ward, and was probably the only one gainfully employed, certainly the sole Ivy League grad. As far as I could estimate, most of the two dozen or so other men and women were homeless or unstably housed and largely suffered from psychosis.

This 38 year old Snowflake spent 36 Hours in a charity Mental Ward to get Medication to "stabilize" and get so Zoned Out that he was finally able to walk into the Real World again. It won't help him Live in the Real World and that's a pity.
He correct about a couple of things - ObamaCare DID put him "at the bottom of the Totem Poll and he CAN "thank Progressive Politics" for his situation. I pity him. He is not among those dangerous to others (the burners, looters, thugs) - he is a danger to himself.
I suspect Mr. Ivy League somehow would have muddled through the pain without killing himself if he hadn't had the free Obamacare. If he had to pay for it with real insurance he might have had second thoughts about how traumatized he really was.
He probably had to leave because he was re-traumatized being given Sanka instead of Starbucks double latte pumpkin cappuccino.
