Geeze Louise, we haven't even seen what Trump has done...And Santorum is part of the establishment, no way, it will simply relapse back to the way it was....

Lets wait and see what evolves first, my God, Trump has not even been inaugurated yet?

I'm no fan of Santorum, but I think it's a bit too soon for Demoflats to be begging us to nominate someone. Seems that you guys were recently begging us to nominate Trump. How'd that work out for you?

No. Absolutely not. If this party wants to still change and evolve after Trump, they need to get past the days of religious crazies like Huckabee and Santorum.

It's amazing he lasted in PA as long as he did.

Right you are.
A also forgot to mention he lost a race for Governor, too. So he's a 4-time loser.

By 2024, Santorum will be 74 as well. Old for a President, even by this election's standards.

I agree, and gay marriage is his defining issue (like Huckabee). By 2024, hopefully it will no longer be a relevant issue except with maybe the most extreme faction of the religious right.

Maybe a great question would be to ask, is, why does the OP think that Santorum would be a good picK?

Hey...

I wanted Rafael Cruz, myself.

But ya gotta admit, it was a very entertaining campaign.

And now we'll have a four year comedy in DC, starring the Pubs' own reality TV star. The late night shows won't need to look around for material to get laughs.

That's what we need -- someone from the Sovereign Military Order of Malta to be our president. After Trump we might be ready for the middle ages.
