Really? Both?
My state has voter ID required but even when it didn't, I always showed my DL. I don't even know where my voter registration card is.

You realize that that a lot of poor, inner city people don't have ID because they're too POOR. I worked at an inn er-city community college once, and you'd be shocked at the sheer number of people who, because they don't drive, have no compelling reason to pay for a photo ID. A non-drivers ID costs:

$30 in PA
$25 in MA
$20 in CA
$28 in WI
$24 in NJ

This may seem like a lot of money, but if you're struggling to make ends meet, it can be a lot of money to spend on something that you don't actually NEED. You're basically charging the poor to vote.

You're not going to believe this...but I didn't have to show either! They called me by name the minute I walked in the door of the polls. One of the ladies at the desk asked what we were serving at the upcoming football banquet...I'm a high school cafeteria cook. They all have kids/grandkids who are involved in the various extracurriculars, and they know me from the sports banquets the cafeteria caters. Whether they'd recognize me if I weren't dressed in my banquet uniform or cafeteria scrub outfit, I don't know.

They do need it to purchase alcohol.

How long do they last? 3 years? 5 years? 10 years? What is that, $3-$10 a year? Really? Poor black people don't eat fast food places? Please that level of stupidity is ignorant...

$8 for low income applicants in CA. I'm not going to research it, but odds are all these other states have similar options.

It does have the following quotes:

“We are not aware of fraud related to the affidavit”

Republicans tried to pass a voter ID law that gave free access to voter ID, and could be gotten where possible at the same place they vote. The only people against voter ID are Ds who think blacks are smart enough to jump through all the welfare hoops, but not smart enough to get voter ID.

It's really about dems wanting and encouraging illegals to vote....
