I voted for Sanders. He did not lose because of money. He lost because of corruption.

P.S. you didn't vote for Sanders in the general.

Well at least you have a valid and proven opinion on losing elections.

So you didnt even try to run in a D primary. If you ran in a general senate or congressional race and had won the libertarian primary, then you get votes simply as a result of having name recognition as the libertarian candidate! The donor class crushes the opposition regardless!

Oh it matters a great deal. The Democrats got rid of the filibuster requirement for all nominees except USSC nominees. That's going to come back to kick them in the face when Trump's nominees come up for confirmation as they're now virtually powerless to stop any of them except Mattis who needs a waiver of the 5-year-wait requirement to head up the DoD. That also means Trump can pack the lower courts with his nominees for at least the next 2 years -- probably 4 as the 2018 Senate race is looking like a difficult one for the Democrats. Finally, the reconciliation process which is filibuster-proof can be used to repeal key elements of Obamacare.

I did vote for Sanders in the general.

But all of this is meaningless. People are obsessed with the presidential spectacle which is not in any way representative of the political races around the country. Claiming that a celebrity billionaire winning the presidency is proof that money and name recognition is not crucial in politics and that we should eliminate the remaining restricitons on bribe money in politics is absurd.

Well, you want to see the corrupt system of campaign finance expanded further. Whats so great about that? Trump of course loves it, the GOP and their puppet masters love it.

No one claimed named recognition wasn't important.

The (D)'s are taking in and spending as much if not more than the (R)'s.

Try to get state-wide name recognition without any money then.
