Looking over that list I'm reminded of a story that came out during the "We Are The World" recording session in 1985. The studio was filled with around 40 of the top recording artists of the time, many of them legends and all lead by the remarkable Quincy Jones. Best of the best. The story goes Willie Nelson looked around the room and said "If a bomb hit this building, John Denver would be No.1 again"

Certainly easy to believe from the guy who paid actors to cheer him as he descended on his golden elevator to announce his run, and though the campaign lied, a published ad was produced.
