Are you talking about Reagan or Obama? Reagan testified during the witch hunts of the 50s in front of the House Committee on un-American Activities. He accused fellow actors of being Communists. It was a very dark time in our country.

If you're talking about Obama, I have to laugh very hard. I mean, all I heard from the birthers was "he isn't a real American!" They questioned his citizenship, his religion and even his college degrees.

So Why is he acting like such a tough guy at the eleventh hour? We all know his testosterone levels are down there with dinosaur bones.
Last ditch effort to cause more division?
Honestly, Reagan would be appalled at the what the Republican party has become.

When did he do this? Please show me, since I must have been in a coma when all these awful things happened.

Not true. There was sort of a mutual tolerance. However, Russia was always more of an enemy than an ally to the U.S. Since we are talking about Ronald Reagan:

Except many in the entertainment business really were Communists or sympathizers and there was plenty of espionage going on--remember the atomic bomb? (read the history, really the investigations occurred for a reason, but Hollywood of course deflected it and re-wrote history by calling them "witch hunts" and pretending innocence, hoping everyone would forget the complicity of many in the industry.) Yes it was a dark time for Soviet spies and as a result, spying was greatly reduced. And I'm not endorsing McCarthy and his tactics but there was more to it. I don't question that Obama is a "real American" (although who knows or cares about his religion and I suspect his degrees are worthless) but that's not the point---it's his own words and attitudes as President, as he's made it crystal-clear over these 8 years, that are objectionable,

No, because it is hypocritical. Obama mocked Romney re Romney's concerns about Russia. I didn't vote for Trump. I just try not to have blinders on.

IIRC, you don't have a degree from an Ivy League university. Trump does.

Reagan knew there were communist and communist sypathizers in Hollywood. Obama's right, he would roll over in his grave to see how far they have come. On this day — Oct. 20 — in 1947, members of the House Un-American Activities Committee began an investigation into alleged communist influences in the film industry

This is gold coming from a man who chided Mitt Romney by saying that the "1980s called and want their foreign policy back."
