1. There's no evidence that Russia hacked actual election returns. Trying to influence opinion through selected hacks of email isn't the same as hacking actual election returns.

2. Even if the Russians had tried to hack election returns, it wouldn't necessarily change the winner of the pop vote. We have in effect 51 elections for president conducted simultaneously with a decentralized system with thousands upon thousands of precincts. Any attempted hack of election returns would have concentrated on key areas in key states. Even that level of hacking actual votes by a foreign power is so daunting a task to be considered ludicrous.

The FBI should investigate if Donald Trump communicated with Putin during the campaign.

I started out for Trump. Then switched to Sanders. They were almost on the same page but Sanders is sane.

My problem is not so much with the Russian hackers and their releasing selected material that damaged Hillary. I will wait for the report to see what parts we have been hearing are true. Was the government obligated to inform the campaigns about the Russians? That's my big question. Our CIA has been interfering with the rest of the world as long as I have been aware of the world. What should anybody have expected?

Trump absolutely skunked the opposition. He outwitted all the paid political consultant class. If anything, I hope this election gets rid of them. They are the reason campaigns are so expensive.

IMO, the drip, drip, drip from WIKI Leaks was damaging.

Comey did Hillary far more damage. And he was in the October briefing and knew as much about Russia as anybody.

0bama himself said it was ridiculous to think that anyone could "hack" our election, before the fact, when Trump said the system was rigged.

Now, after the election, 0bama says the russians hacked the election.

Was he lying then? or is he lying now?

Just looking at this single fact shows me the whole russian hacking story is just another lib lie, designed to do whatever damage they can do. The only ones it will resonate with are those that already belong to the "useful idiot" corps that surrounds the liberal elite in their propaganda factories.

More evidence is piling up linking Donald Trump to the Russian government, including the discovery of a secret server that existed solely to connect the Trump Organization to a powerful Russian bank, and a report that the FBI was informed that Vladimir Putin’s regime wanted to cultivate a relationship with the Republican nominee.

News of the secret server came to light after security experts became concerned that the revelation of Russian attacks on Democratic National Committee servers might indicate similar activity being used against the Trump campaign, according to Slate.

Instead, the experts discovered that the Trump Organization had set up an email server that only performed one function: irregularly pinging a single email server located at Alfa Bank — one of Russia’s biggest banks, which has close connections to the Russian and Ukrainian political elite. Both servers were set up to reject connections from third-party servers, and neither was active outside of Moscow and New York business hours.

Donald Trump company’s server was connected to Russian bank: Report - Salon.com

Here's your proof that Trump, and or his campaign directly communicated with Russia through a secret server that operated out of Trump Tower, NYC. Strangely enough, it was disconnected as soon as it was discovered and questioned by cyber experts at the Russian connection. The cyber experts said in relation to the immediate shutdown of the server in NYC that, "When the knee was tapped in Moscow, the leg jerked in NYC"
As soon as all the Trump worshipers dial in that it's all phony and "who believes Salon" I can post numerous links to very reputable technical publicans that verify the information.
Or you can just google, "secret Trump server connected to Russia."

This will come out in the report to be released soon and should prompt a bipartisan Congressional investigation into Trump's Campaign Russian connection and even Trump himself.

I am horrified that a foreign power was able to do this and got away with it. I am more horrified that some Americans are okay with that.

Be careful what actions you support. The next time, it may be the guy you support who is harmed, and who will be left to help you? What procedures will we have in place to prevent it, or punish them for it? Do you want a foreign power dictating who runs our country?
Oh, blah blah. So you're saying if someone sees a crime and reports it, they are affecting the conviction?

Balderdash!

Nothing Russia did affected our election. Most of us already knew Hillary for the criminal and idiot she is. We didn't need Russia to tell us that.

You'll notice that the Trump forum Turd polishers won't touch the secret server issue with a 10 foot pole, with gloves on.

Liberals are idiots. All of the polls were updated almost daily and included any bias from Wikileaks. The FBI investigation was completely separate from the alleged Russian "help". Up to the last days, all of the major polls still showed Clinton with a decisive lead.

Explain how the Russians could have possibly intervened?
