On the flip side, I believe if Joe Biden had run he may have beaten Trump.

But who cares? Just some fun guessing game I suppose.
It'll be more interesting to speculate on whether the globalist goons are going to blame Hillary for the upcoming political shifts in Europe that could hit the left like a ton of bricks. Italy, France, the Netherlands and Austria all have elections coming up where a center-right candidate could win just like Trump.

Absolutely not because there was no other candidate that 1. spoke to what blue collar workers were worried about which was jobs, and the causes of the jobs leaving which was free trade.
2.No other candidate would have gone after the media and Clinton and anyone that crossed them like Trump did. The media DESTROYS candidates but Trump was having none of it. As flawed of a candidate as Clinton was she would have beaten anyone else.

I also think Bernie Sanders would've beaten trump. I'm not sure if he would've won Ohio but it would've been much closer and razor then either way. Bernie wins pa Wisconsin michigan Iowa, maybe Ohio, and probably Florida and North Carolina

if, if, if..........Biden's problem is that he had to run on an Obama's 3rd term.....defend Obamacare and its high cost of premiums and healthcare costs. Biden is a globalist that is for NAFTA and TPP........you think the nation will ignore all that and elect Biden on just his personality then you misread the nation on this election cycle.

You think Sanders, a well known socialist that wants big government and take over the banks and handcuff the private sector and wants opens borders and pay everybody's free healthcare and free college even for all illegals would have won a national election? LOL......come on! be serious!

Sanders is to the left of Obama, if the nation rejected an Obama 3rd term what makes you think they will go further left to Obama with Sanders??????

None of them, not one, would have been able to flip MI, PA or WI. Most of them would have also lost FL, OH and IA plus maybe AZ. They wouldn't have targeted the voters Trump did, mostly because it was assumed they were in the bag for Clinton.

That was the "Blue Wall" Democrats were counting on. Against any other Republican it would have held.

As a note, I supported Bush, and voted for him in the Maryland primary after he dropped out, and didn't vote for Trump. Or Clinton.

I don't think so. I have never voted Repub in my life and would not have had Trump not run. I don't expect to ever vote Repub again after he's done. I'm guessing here but there were probably a lot of voters this year who were like me.

I think so, despite many people claiming the opposite, I don't think Hillary was a strong candidate. She had a lot of major problems. Sanders is a pretty out there candidate and he was far closer then he should have been to winning the Democratic primary. I think that was the clearest sign of how weak Hillary was.

I think almost any of the Republicans could have beaten Hillary. I know a lot of people don't like Jeb, but I do think he would have beaten Hillary as well. Kasich could have won, Rubio could have won. I think Paul and Cruz would have had the hardest time. I say that as a semi Paul supporter.

Kasich probably could have won. He would have likely outperformed Trump in Ohio, and I think that goodwill would have extended into relatively similar states that Trump won like Iowa, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Plus Kasich would have done better in Virginia and Colorado than Trump did. Florida is probably a wash, though.

I think Rubio might have had more challenges because he was more of a "national" Republican candidate than Kasich was. I'm not sure he would have made inroads in the Midwest where Trump did and Kasich might have. But he would have also outperformed Trump in Virginia and Colorado in my opinion, shifting the allocation of resources.

Cruz, on the other hand, probably wouldn't have. The voters who he appeals to in states that switched from Obama to Trump were already voting Republican, and I don't think the people who switched from Obama to Trump would have come around for Cruz.

Keep in mind that with another candidate, the overall campaign season would have been much nicer and I don't think Hillary Clinton would have been attacked nearly as much. I mean, remember the #SickHillary stuff? That wouldn't have flown with Kasich or Rubio, but it was somewhat effective with Trump.

Sanders might have been able to beat Trump because he's the only other candidate other than Trump to see that both parties are in crisis mode right now, and I don't think that Trump being Trump would have been quite as effective with him. With an establishment Republican, however, Sanders might have been exposed as crazy to a majority of the electorate.

Kasich may have had a chance but the leftist politicians would have been just as ugly against Kasich. I'm not sure he would have been able to fight fire with fire like Trump did.

I am the long time Democrats I know are truly disgusted with Obama and the Democratic party.

If the Democrats had nominated anyone else, could they have beaten Trump? Maybe someone smart enough to more actively and forcefully call out his BS?
