Good post, but introspection isn't a strong quality of Obama, or most career politicians. Obama will die as will Clinton blaming everyone for their failures.

It's not hard nor complicated. We are were we are today because of these 5 or 6 things...
  • Jobs vs outsourcing
  • Illegal immigration
  • Wars of Choice that never end
  • Inner city crime & violence
  • Islamic terrorism
  • Crooked politicians who sell their position
That's it in a nut shell. The establishment of both parties loses on all of these accounts, and Trump, as the anti-establishment candidate win the nomination & Presidency.

No doubt Obama believes the economy is moving right along and happy days are just around the corner. Maybe if you're in the tech industry. However, for many for Americans it's paycheck to paycheck. And while I'm sure a lot of people are sympathetic to the plight of the transgender community and children whose parents brought them into the States illegally. It would have been nice if Obama spent a lot more time kick-starting the economy.

Overall, I was both surprised and disappointed in Obama. I thought for sure he'd run to the political center and he wasn't so ideologically driven.

I also thought he start an honest dialogue about race. A dialogue which included discussing the dysfunctionality found in many African American inner city communities.

And the way the ACA was rammed through was disgraceful. I agree something needs to be done about the cost of health care but the ACA is a mess.

I'm glad Obama is leaving office and very happy Hillary lost. Not sure what a Trump presidency will bring but I like the way it's been gearing up over the past six weeks.

The sad thing is that it's not just Obama who can't admit his mistakes, it's the Democrats, progressives, liberals and leftists who can't either.

And I would throw in the Republican Establishment, which also got trounced by Trump.
