A reddit thread here - https://www.reddit.com/r/The_Donald/...ch_citizen_in/ shows a man who is Dutch and does not live in the United States was able to register to vote in California. Other people registered dogs, etc.

Just click no id, no social security number, and promise you are a citizen, and poof an absentee ballot will be sent to you anywhere in the world. Who wants to be Californian?

No...just no.

It's a thread from Reddit where people claim to have been registered to vote in California via an on-line process.

It's garbage.

The only thing going on here is that people are applying online to register to vote in California - no one on the thread claimed to have received a voter ID card.

California checks everyone's voter registration requests prior to registering them to vote.

There are no voter ID cards because CA doesn't have voter ID. I live here. I registered on line. It was way too easy and took maybe 5 minutes. When I finished registering, I received a packet in the mail with the location of my polling place and sample ballet about a week later. That was it.

Voter fraud isn't my thing. California doesn't require any id, social security number, drivers license, other form of ID, address of even phone number. An email is sufficient. The California voter registration accepted Hollywood and Vine, took a second to look up the zip code.
