Not sure what universe you live in, but in this one, a woman whose only options are "retire wealthy" or "become a maid at the Super 8 Motel" would retire.

She won't run, but sure she'd be elected - and she'd be damn good.

I think she could win, but I would be surprised if she runs for mayor of NYC. Just look at their current mayor, as much as I dislike Hillary, is that guy any better?

My question is, "Why??"

After deBlasio has fouled things up in that town, why would anyone in their right minds vote for someone who will further mess things up?

Um, Trump is already president, he can't also run for NYC mayor.

Which is handy, because if he was free to run for NYC mayor, he'd lose.

Hillary would easily win a NYC mayor election against her old friend and senate campaign manager De Blasio. I hope she runs and beats him. I don't like her but I like De Blasio even less. The city hasn't degenerated enough, yet, for New Yorkers to elect a Republican mayor.

I think she could easily be elected as the mayor of NYC. The problem arises after the election. The role of mayor of a big city would be much too demanding for her given her age and health. I think she should move 30-40 miles east, take up residence in Connecticut and run for the governorship there. I think that job would be easier than mayor of NYC and less stressful. Besides she was the Wall Street candidate so CT people should love her as much as NYC residents.

Yes, I think Clinton would have a really good chance.

Is the Mayor of NYC considered a step down from Senator? Obviously it is a step down from President and Secretary of State.
