Season 6 was shot before Trump won, so the writers of the show which is fiction but based on current events assumed Clinton would be president and the season picks up with the CIA briefing the president elect which is a woman. It's funny watching it because all the DEMS who are still crying about Clinton not winning can at least go watch Homeland and pretend that Clinton won.

I am a fan of Homeland and thought the same thing, that they anticipated Clinton winning. The show has never leaned left before, but that doesn't bother me as much as how badly this season sucks so far.

I watched Homeland because the first 3 seasons were filmed here in Charlotte.

It kinda went off the rails after that. Might be worth a months sub to Showtime, however, to see that mistake.

This had crossed my mind before, how many of these media outlets preemptively created documentaries or whatever about Clinton that will never be shown?
