I heard almost nothing about how Ross Perot voters (1992 and/or 1996) voted this time around.
So I felt it needed it's own space here.

Perot voters:

1) How many times did you vote for Perot?

2) Who did you vote for in 2016, or did you sit out the election?

I voted for Perot in 1996, the first time I voted in an election! I voted for President Trump.

I voted twice for Perot, he's a better businessman than Trump and very likely a better person.

But that being said, it was very easy for me to take a chance and vote for Trump this time around. Trump is already thinking like a businessman, and not a politician, and he's already getting things done. We'll see where things stand in 4 years.

Voted for Perot twice as he knew what he was talking about - voted Trump this time around. I always felt only a businessman can run a successful gov't. Politicians are too corrupt for the most part.

Interesting thread. I can see how a Perot voter would favor Trump simply on the DC outsider viewpoint, as well as the business viewpoint.

I imagine similar results with Ron Paul.

I didn't vote for Perot but I liked him at first. But then he came out with that business about a Cuban hit squad coming after him (or was it the Black Panthers, or the North Vietnamese, or...). Then I realized he was coo coo for cocoa puffs.

I voted for Perot once and will vote for Trump twice. Well we will see what happens in 4 years. If he has done a good job for America he will get my vote again.

I always thought that DC needed a business man to cut the waste out. I also voted for Romney in 2012.
