[I highly doubt blacks (My personal opinion) will be voting democrat in large numbers after this election. The level of racism and hate spewed out of the Clinton camp is unbelievable. I'm not sure if blacks will immediately switch over to the Republican Party, but I’m sure many will open up to voting Libertarian or will remain independent. People are sick of collectivist and are looking for true leaders that respect people as individuals such as Ron Paul. The true colors of the Democratic Party are all coming out. It is funny watching life long democratic blacks fighting to defend the racist within their party. This is the same Democratic Party that allowed whites and blacks to refer to Condoleezza Rice and Colin Powell as a “coons” and all sorts of other racial epithets like “Uncle Tom” etc. You people should have seen this coming. The Dems have been the same groups calling every black elected by a Republican Administration “unqualified affirmative action hires.” In 8 years Bill Clinton couldn’t find a black to represent the US in a Top Cabinet office. The signs have always been there and it is clear who the real racist party is, and finally blacks are waking up and seeing the writing on the wall.

The dems have been exposed for the racist in sheep’s clothing; they've always been from day one. Seriously, I have a lot of conservative, libertarian, and liberal friends. However, I’ve heard some of the most insulting statements come out of the mouths of people that consider themselves liberal progressives. It is great they are all being exposed for the bigots they are! I'm sure some older blacks will remain loyal to a party, that has slapped them in the face for more than 30 years, but I highly doubt younger blacks will continue to support this party in the coming years.

I think if Obama looses this time out and runs again in 2012, they'll vote for him, but I highly doubt, the dems will remain a viable party for strong black support in the next 10-20 years

My thoughts on the Democrat party and their real racist beliefs are as follows;

"The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist"

No, i'm calling whites devils, but using it as a euphemism for the democrats racism. They attempted to convince blacks and other minority groups, they were not racist, but oh what a lie that was! 40 Years Later they're finally being exposed!!! THANKS BARRACK, for exposing them!!

-seems they believe blacks are only good enough to vote for them, but not run against them!

Oh God, I hope you're right! It's almost too much to hope for, that the liberal wolf in sheep's clothing and his ruinous misery-making value system would actually be exposed and repudiated. Haven't Black people been held prisoner by this way of thinking long enough?
I would dance in the streets!!

It's been said, you can trust a blatant out-in-the-open racist more than a hidden pretending to be otherwise racist.

This campaign has now been steered completely away from issues and is now about race. Obama photos of him wearing African clothes. One fricken picture. And Obama's middle name that he had no role in choosing. And now some speeches he himself never wrote, never gave, and very likely never heard. Nothing but dirt.

Obama himself has maintained a positive campaign. Nothing racist, no dirt slinging, no smears. He has been winning fair and square, he's played by the rules. No matter -- it turns out that because he's black, because he attended a black church that he is supposed to step down and let Hillary the loser win instead.

Pretty sad isn't it, he has maintained a positive campaign, one of the things I admired about him was he did not play dirty, he has run himself a clean campaign. It was just a little more than fishy that white men were choosing a woman over Obama and I do think it is racial. He has shown nothing but class throuhout this campaign. What makes it a big deal that he wore African clothes. He attended a black Church, so what?? I hope he does not step down, if we get Hillary we will be worse off than with Bush, which is really hard to do.
Sassy

In 2004, 90% of blacks voted for Kerry. If Hillary is the nominee many, understandably, might stay home, but never vote for a Republican.

You can rattle off the names of a few "Toms" all you want, doesn't matter. They're not going to vote against their self interest and vote for the party that employs the race based "southern strategy."

What we have certainly learned this campaign season is that the so-called progressive party--the Democrats--is actually not progressive at all. Let's hope that black Americans open themselves up to new ideas. Socialism is something they should check out. Learning what Marxism is about

Black people started off Republican. That's the party of Lincoln. The party of the Ole South was Democrat. The party of Jim Crow and lynchings and poll taxes and intense racial hatred is historically Democrat. Black people didn't even start voting Democrat till Roosevelt, in large part thanks to Eleanore. Even then, it was Blacks who had fled to the Northern cities who started to vote Democrat and Blacks who still lived in the South under Democrat persecution couldn't believe their Northern brethren could have such short memories as to vote for the "enemy"- the Democrats. Why do you think the Ole south tried to keep black people from voting? Because they were voting Republican in the Democrat South, that's why.

Actually more and more minorities are registering Republican every day, true they are not switching parties, but new registered votes tend to be split among both parties.

Interesting...I did not know this. Here is a story to back it up too.
