You're overthinking things. Obama never stoked anything. The fact that you yourself and others like you get riled up and offended means whatever Obama said or did hit too close to home for many

In the case of Trump, his rhetoric thrilled actual white supremacists.

Query: Let's say a significant group of white voters are only motivated to vote if they either have a white candidate to vote for or if a former popular white politician motivates them to vote. Are those voters white supremacists?

Let's say a significant group of black voters are only motivated to vote if they either have a black candidate to vote for or if a former popular black politician motivates them to vote. Are those voters black supremacists?

If the answer to these two questions is different, why?

I swear, you guys love to make something out of nothing. (I bet it also drives all of you batty that Obama is still around and active ) Love it.
Obama is actually mixed race, raised by white grandparents, so not a lot of blacks will really identify with that and then there is the things got worse for blacks during Obama's 8 years.

(At the very least ... against his white half)
Obama is whatever he finds convenient for the moment.

I know! Obama wasn't messing with magic brownies, he was into the hard stuff which I always thought explained a lot about him.

True, very true. It is part of the liberal agenda, and with the ignorance of their crowd, they can pass it off.

The plan for 2016 was to get the vote for illegal aliens by giving them amnesty, so they were like "screw the blacks". That didn't pan out, so not they are back among the blacks trying to drum up support. Most blacks, although Obama would not be aware of this being mixed race raised by white grandparents, aren't so stupid or have such short memories that they don't realize what he and the party has done.

People come to these rallies, etc. to say that they saw President Obama in person, same with many politicians, it isn't that you support them, but it is cool to say you saw them in person.

I suspect the Dem nomination, if not to Hillary who is still salivating about being the first woman POTUS, will go to a black woman. I know they were looking Latino/Hispanic previously, but since the illegals won't be voting, legally anyway, they are going to have to put that on the back burner.

But, it's worse than that. For those too young to know....race relations in America had been on a positive trajectory for decades. There is no debate about that. In 2009, it was as if a switch got flipped and all sorts of stories got inflated beyond truth, reckless accusations were made about any situation that could be "painted" to be racist, professionally-organized and privately-funded groups (BLM to name one) got started and on and on.

In the 21st century, the "racist" picture painted of America is largely a fraudulent, Hollywood, media and politically-driven narrative based on scripts.

Here's the wackiest script of all: all this came about under a President who is 50% white. He is BI-racial. But presents himself as black and allows everyone to position himself that way. And, ready?....somehow that not racist!

You....Cannot....Make...This....Stuff.....Up!
You must be very young not to realize that President Obama was born and lived most of his life under the single drop rules of American racial classification. It doesn't matter who else from anywhere else contributed DNA if an ancestor can be traced to Africa at the beginning of President Obama's life that person always faced that some would revert to the N--word to describe him.

True leaders sometimes are unpopular. You can't, and won't satisfy everyone. I would wager that Trump's approval ratings are much higher than these POLLS are telling us. The same ones said he would lose. Trump was truly an astounding rejection of Obama, and the Dems.

If you are correct about the bolded then you just described a distinctly racist viewpoint and tendency from our African American citizens.

How is that okay? More double-standards from the Left to not take issue with that. The Dems simply possess no credibility at this point. And as long as they're parading Obama and HRC, they won't regain any.

Oh, good grief, what a bunch of bunk. What dippy college sociology class fed you that cra*p?

Honestly, if many of the commenters on this forum are the future of America then somebody needs to create an exchange-traded USA IQ Index....cuz I'm going to short it!

You have to remember to make the distinction between liking the man and liking his political policies/ agenda.

I think Obama is an affable, likeable man....but I detest his politics.

In the case of Trump, it's just the opposite.

Trump himself is irrelevant... it's his stated political policies that are important.

Trump is a means to an end......nothing more.
