No, he isn't.....unless you think people over, say, 70 are ALL the same ( on that, and I'm not old enough for Medicare).
Trump was born on June 14th, 1946 (and June 14th is Flag Day in the United States ).
Biden was born on November 20th, 1942.
Bernie was born on September 8th, 1941.
Believe me, when one is in their 70s, a year or two makes no difference. I'm 73, older than Trump, and younger than Biden or Sanders, and I know lots of folks older than I who don't have as many senior moments as I do. And I know lots of younger folks who have more senior moments than I.
Age does not have its way on all of us in the same ways or at some arbitrary period of time.
I just saw a local lady on TV last night who just turned 104. She doesn't look much older than a dozen folks in their 70s I know, and she's still as sharp as a tack and more active than anyone of her age I have ever seen.
Does any of this mean that any of the 3 are the best candidates due to the age factor alone?
No.
But it does not shake my belief that our best choice for a Presidential candidate should be of a younger age than 70 when elected.
I think somewhere around around 55 years old is the best age for any Presidential candidate. That is old enough to have acquired some significant life experience, while still young enough to have a clear and quick mind and the physical vigor to stand up to the demands of office. 55 allows some swing in the age range, too. So if the best candidate is a little younger or older, that's OK.
But 70 is simply too old to have peak performance all the time. No one I know who is 70 or older has the same peak they once had. It's gone forever, even if they still function very well and are in perfect health.

I'm not sure he would be experienced enough to run, but I'd probably say Tim Ryan (D-OH), who mounted an unsuccessful moderate challenge against Nancy Pelosi, would be the type of candidate I'm looking for.
Trump will likely win but IMO Jim Webb would make an excellent middle of the road president, and we need a president for all the people, not just one side or the other.
Since then, and for the last three decades as a member of Congress representing a shrinking enclave of reason within a state apparently determined to turn itself into a cesspool, he has worked to emphasize both the need for individual freedom coupled with responsibility, and the open exchange of both goods and ideas that is the driving force behind all human progress -- with the power-obsessed absolutists from both extremes opposing him every step of the way.
He's always been far too sensible to seek the White House; Thank you, Rep Dana Rohrabacher!
Good thought and, as far as I know, a good guy. We pay far too much attention to the presidency and far too little to our legislators, who make the laws, or, more importantly, refrain from making laws.
Donald Trump now has 90 votes at the time of this post with still just a little over 50% of the votes.
Joe Biden and "other" are the only two that really register on your poll results and they only are showing about one third of the votes of President Trump. Isn't it time to start another poll without all the names that did not get one vote? I would like to see the results with Ivanka's name on the list as well the other names that have been mentioned. I have to presume that so far nobody is really that popular to run in 2020; there is not a lot of enthusiasm.
not only is this not even an interesting poll when I see a few say Biden or Sanders, I just want to laugh. If for no other reason than both are wayyyyyyy to old.

So those 4-5 years make that much of a difference, do they?
Fascinating.
