We're making too big of a deal over state elections, and there's a difference between state senates and the one in D.C. Don't get too excited over Democrats winning seats. In local areas across the country, there are so many seats which will be decided later on. The big concern right now needs to be the U.S. House and the U.S. Senate. Both are those are critical.
A friend of mine lives there, and said she knew nothing about this special election. She's calling foul on it, and thinks that the MSM crying about the sh$%^&hole comments was just a distraction.
Uhhh, 22,421 people manged to vote in that special election.

If the dems keep abandoning working class Americans while engaging in identity politics, they'll lose in 2018, 2020, and future elections. They'll never learn.

That's just the point.
The Dems are no longer ignoring the working class. In fact, they are now intent on changing things from the bottom up, not the top down.
Identity politics cuts both ways; once a voter changes from one party to the other, a repeat is more likely in the future. The Democratic party did learn after their whooping of 2016, and now, they are concentrating on identity politics on the local, not national, level.
The old saying that all politics is local is still true. Once the bottom changes, so does the top. The object now is to turn once-blue states blue again, and make red states that have always been red purple. Wisconsin is one of those states; it was once as blue as it got, so this local win IS very important to the Democratic party.
But that doesn't mean the Democrats will be content to sit back after Moore's defeat in Alabama, one of the reddest states in the nation. For the Alabama Democrats, Moore's defeat was just the beginning. They want to see more Democrats in their state house, and want to send more Democrats to Washington this year and in 2020.

No they won't...those minorities vote...and old white people are going to continue to become more and more the minority...
These 34 elections that flipped from GOP to Dem are just the beginning of a tidal wave this year.
