I think Dems and Reps not running again probably has to do with 'sexual misconduct' episodes they fear popping up. Both parties are stagnant and need to Drain the Swamp.
Still waiting for the list of politicians who took advantage of the long-standing slush fund to make sexual misconduct allegations go away. Don't care who it is or what party they're from. Would like to know who used my tax dollars for this purpose. Preferably before the mid-terms.
That's the whole point of a representative democracy. If the official is not willing to hear the problems of the people they are representing, they aren't doing their job.
And yes, as part of the 1st Amendment, I do have the right to protest or speak up to my congressperson.

yes, I agree there are those on both sides that need to call it a day or a career or whatever, but right now the GOP does seem to have more newer, younger faces. Oh, they have plenty of older guys and gals as well. don't necessarily agree with you it has much to do with sexual misconduct .
