In November 2000 the unemployment rate was also 3.9%, but that did not guarantee Al Gore a victory.

In November 1968 the unemployment rate was 3.4% but that did not guarantee Hubert Humphrey a victory.

Trump's approval rating is higher now than it was when he won the Presidency.

As of May 6th 2018, Real Clear Politics shows Trump's average approval rating is 44.2%

The day before he was elected Trump had a RCP average approval of 42.2%, Clinton 45.5%.

The economy was good when Trump was elected, which says he was not elected on that issue. What makes the public weary are fake politicians who give lip service and little else; many at least took a chance that Trump the jerk was authentic, which it turns out he wasn't. What the public really wants is a leader who not only says they care, but proves it. Not someone who says "I will fight for you Flint" and never comes back when they lose the election (hi Hillary). Basically they want someone like Bernie Sanders, lol.

Bernie would have won......the (D)'s still have not figured out why and that is why someone as bad as Trump is may very well win again.
This is NOT true.

North Korea having nukes was creating a lot of instability in Northeast Asia and it might have eventually led to Japan and possibly South Korea one day also having nuclear weapons. And with Japan and China and also Japan and Russia having territorial conflicts, the situation could have gotten out of control.

Just because we do not live on the Korean peninsula or in Northeast Asia does not mean the situation is unimportant.

I was speaking about the general. Sanders would have won.

People like myself understand that is because everything we did was done for the top few percent. We bent over and took care of Wall Street while ignoring Main Street.

Now, will Trump do the same? Absolutely but unless the (D)'s nominate someone other than another Corporatist, I'm not going to vote for them just because Trump is one.

Why? The vast majority of (D)'s claim to support what Bernie supports. Are you saying it's bluster and they don't actually?

We were causing the instability.

True, but their party was the incumbent. Similar situations.
