It's sad that you ignore everything the Democratic party does actually do just because you didn't get your way.

God I wish this was true. Sanders would either have to run as an Independent and crush any chance the D's have of winning in 2020 or he'd have to show his true colors by bowing out of the race so the establishment, corporate Democrat has a chance.

Unfortunately I don't see either happening. Bernie will just compromise his principles again and declare he is a Democrat, thus allowing him to run.

It's what they do that bothers me.

Most likely the views of those not bought by the corporatists will be represented by someone else but you can be assured, there will be someone.

I'm surprised by this. democrat socialist Bernie has a real shot of winning the presidential election should he run in 2020, but it doesn't look like he would get support from the dnc for a presidential run in 2020. he has always said he is not a democrat.
So in the end, the American people truly don't have a vote. We only have two choices that the powerful select.

Either way, it may be a throwaway vote, but I think I will either vote for Rand Paul or Jill Stein this next upcoming election.

He doesn't belong in any Democrat related organization, he isn't a Democrat. While I don't support even 1% of his political platform, I 100% support him going 3rd party where he belongs. I'm all for a 3rd or even 4th party getting involved to shake up the stale and unproductive 2 party system.

Bernie was the greatest threat to the nation. The loony old screeching socialist couldn't find his azz with both hands. Clueless about an economy, never had a real job, no idea what it means to produce a thing. He's too clueless even for today's Democratic party. Only a few simple minded children fell in behind him and got into his prattling about "free chit". Not so much different than Russia in 1917 come to think of it. Which just shows that we can never understand the potential damage caused by simple minded children.

If Bernie wants to run as a Dem and destroy any chance they have of winning in 2020, all he has to do is declare himself a Dem. It's not exactly like the Democratic party is picky about who they allow to play.

IF that were true on the Republican side, we'd have had Jed Bush running against the rapist's wife, not Trump.

It's about time for a nontraditional 3rd party anyway!

After what the DNC did to Bernie during the last election cycle, I'd be quite surprised if he'd want to have anything to do with them for 2020. Besides, Bernie's political philosophy aligns more squarely with the Grren Party than the corporate driven democratic party.

In my heart of hearts, I've always been more inclined towatds the Green Party anyways...

I only settled for the Democratic Party as the lesser of two evils...

Go Bernie!
