You can look it up here:

Looks like more than a dozen European countries have more people working than America.

The basic problem with socialism is that if everyone owns something, nobody owns it. And if no one owns it, there is no one to hold accountable. There was an old saying in the USSR--they pretend to pay us, and we pretend to work. And that's how an economy ends up in ruins.
The taxpayers are on the hook for who knows how much money......why should they not get an interest also?

I guess trump and company want to privatize everything our country has been built on.
Everyone loves Socialist programs as long as they see themselves directly benefitting.

Where did I say that we had 'more in common' with Venezuela? Have you read any books about Venezuela? They moved heavily towards socialism only after Chavez. They were actually the most, prosperous nations in South America before Chavez. Chavez was a persuaded, true-believer socialist. And btw, everything that Chavez did, he did by winning elections. So he was a 'democratic socialist.'

Why does Venezuela always come up in these conversations ????? Pretty sure no one wants to mimic Venezuela

why dont you speak about the European nations ?

Hilary raised $1.2 billion and outspent Trump 2:1, but apparently the $100,000 spent by Russians mostly after the election were the deciding factor.
