Cortez is a flawed candidate without any real political support from insiders or most of the residents in that district... An easy takedown...

She’s definitely the media darling of the week though . She got the Mayor of NYC to instantly embrace her call to abolish ICE .

I even saw an article in Money magazine ( owned by Time Inc) of all places gloating over her.
Kind of ironic given she’s a Democratic socialist .

They are afraid and want to drum up support... endorsing someone is cheap putting in money is expensive and not something the DNC wants to do... Time is anti-Trump, they have been since the elections... She got 10% of the votes... you ask the other 90% whether they want a socialist bartender as their representative and I suspect the majority would say no... The district has been gerrymandered many times (mickey mouse ears anyone?)... However it has NEVER been in Democrat control the entire time... In fact, I have never seen a district vote for one party since its inception... to think that this district can't be flipped is what liberals WANT others to think... even then its not WORTH more than a few million put into the race to TRY to flip it... it is a vulnerable candidate in a district that likely won't support socialism... that is the RIGHT environment to flip a seat...

Wait. What.

I thought Trump was going to reduce crime. Remember he said "Only I can do it".

The link shows a massive increase in crime from 2017 to 2018.

LINK QUOTE:

As of Sunday, 50 people have been killed in the Bronx since the start of 2018,

In the same period of 2017, 26 people had been murdered in the borough, according to the numbers.

The massive uptick in homicides in the borough represents a 92.3 percent increase, police said.

Eww. This doesn't bode well for the Dem's. You sure you want to be celebrating this? I'd just let it go quietly into the night and hope nothing rubs off.

Both parties need new blood and fresh ideas. And this starts now. I am sick of these old people being elected year after year who are bought by lobbyists
