This would be the exception, not the rule and the religious right is slowly being marginalized. In the Democrats case the extreme left is going mainstream.

Hence proving my point that you have no idea what you are talking about.
Thank you for the clarification, and my apologies. You're right, I misread (mis-scanned) the article.

I still maintain that the Democrats' shift to the hard left is largely responsible for us having Trump as president.

The "Religious Right" is Vice President.

The very person that would become President if the left was successful in removing Trump.

Amazing how they can be against someone and yet want to elevate them the highest level of government.

This isnt a shift, the State Party seems to be supporting someone who came up through their ranks vs an outsider.
Yes, i know, its strange to call someone an outsider who has been elected for so long, but she is in this case.

You are arguing on a flawed premise. No one wants to elevate Pence, he is simply the next person in line based on the laws in place.

Examples of things he has supported that you would consider extreme and out of the mainstream?

Refusing to have a meeting with someone of the opposite sex without his wife there .

On occasion my wife has to meet with the city attorney. I asked how well it would go over if I told her that she can no longer do that unless I was there.

She said "it wouldn't".

You consistently take things out of context and to the extreme. What he said has nothing to do with religion, it has everything to do with the #metoo craziness going on where a mere accusation can ruin you, true or not. With how crazy the Left is about trying to take down this admin I wouldn't put it past them to try and set something like that up on Pence. Your analogy with your wife is meaningless, you are both irrelevant people in the grand scheme of things and not worth trying to take down.

If he thinks a public dinner meeting with a female will lead to me too , I'm not sure what he expects to go on.
