People combing through her tweets have already dug up some pretty questionable comments she wrote directed at Christians. Some potential issues have been raised about some things she did while running that electric company which will look bad for her though that will have to be confirmed.

I sort of wished the 14 year old would have won to really make for an interesting election and believe it or not the kid did gather many votes. I'm not happy with either choice right now but I think the message is going to get sent to Phil that he won't be winning against Christine if he doesn't change course on some of the gun issues. Phil has already stated he doesn't support the magazine ban, backtracking already. He won't have the votes to win with what I expect to be a high turnout for Christine without trying to get back those former supporters he turned on.

Primary elections in most areas of USA historically have low turnout of voters. More so in off/non-presidential race years. Thus what you do get are often "hard core" and or riled up people that either regularly vote and or want to send a "message".

What does seem to be happening is that older voters (Boomers and or their parents, grandparents) generations remained at home for primaries. What turned out were plenty of younger people who seem intent on taking on various political machines/entrenched politicians.

Gays, lesbians and even trannies seem to be benefitting from this as the younger generations don't seem to have problems with such people. Out in New Jersey a near thirty year incumbent mayor was beaten by a total newcomer to politics who happens to be a same sex married out lesbian.

Not exactly appealing choices. And the winner for governor is just about as dumb as that Cortez chick.

Life is good here if you can afford your property taxes and can ignore insane politics in this state. I feel sorry for us.

If you looked at all of the bizarre candidates for governor, she was the most qualified. They were on television and I was completely embarrassed for this state. Problem is, unless the more conservative voter turns out (and I think they will) she will win simply because she is trans (or whatever she is) and leans socialist, although I did hear her say the education financing system needs overhaul. A confederacy of dunces. smh
