You ever heard the saying 20 percent of something is better than 50 percent of nothing?

We should strive to manufacture almost everything we use.

Plain and simple.....Globalization is a race to the bottom farce and method of a labor arbitrage.

Newest poll has Bredesen at +5. Looking good for the blue wave.

18 days later, based on when LIKELY voters were polled, Blackburn +5.

Tidybowl wave going bye-bye per rcp.

In a state like TN the polls will be going up and down. Nobody really know until the night of Nov 6. + the Republicans SHOULD win TN...it's a red state. If the Democrats win it's just a bonus.

You probably had best not schedule the victory dance quite yet. This race may prove to be a closer one than you think.

Democrat Phil Bredesen, her opponent, runs TV ads all about jobs and what he's done for Tennessee as the former two-term governor. In other words, he addresses the issues TN voters care most about. Blackburn's current TV ad is about human trafficking, which is a worthy issue for the country, but it hardly affects a large number of Tennessee voters, directly, and can't be high on anyone's issues list. It's like her campaign has no idea on how to sell her outside of her district. Her first ad was an ad about nothing. Meanwhile Bredesen was telling people he'd vote with Trump if he thinks what Trump is doing will help Tennesseans but most of his ads are about businesses that came to TN under his governorship and he ends his ads with "And I'm applying for the job."

If she loses, it won't be Donald Trump's fault. The RNC needs to give her more guidance because she's pissing away that Senate seat right now by talking a Washington DC game to Tennessee voters. Trump should talk to her, too. I'm serious. She seems to need help with her campaign.

For any candidate to run, that candidate must be inspired and must be aggressive to address what the constituents really need. You have to wonder about Blackburn's real motives. There are still some shady characters out there with traps, painting rosy pictures to cover up chaff. That's why it's important for voters to know their candidates before they vote. Thank goodness for the internet.

I think as Election Day draws closer, Senate races are moving towards the standard partisanship levels in their respective states. Note that this is a CBS poll and they are showing the Democrat ahead in Arizona and even more so in New Jersey, so it isn't a source biased in favor of Republicans. The problem for Bredesen is that regardless of supporting him for governor in the past, Tennessee in 2018 is a strongly red state where the president is highly popular, and Blackburn is on the right team.

Great to see the shift to Blackburn.

Especially after the SC vote, as McConnell did a great job leading the Senate and will continue to do so, no doubt.

Or it might turn out to be a lanslide win for Blackburn. Probably best for you not to schedule anything yet yourself.
