Well now, p.p.

Feel free to vote for Cruz.

Looks like he'll need every one he can get.

The thing Beto O'Rourke has going in his favor is that some of the unsavory things about his past - he took ownership of his faults. Which means that when there's some sort of October surprise, it will be easy for things to roll off his back. I don't know if the same could be said for Cruz.

Regardless, Cruz is still up in the latest polls (albeit, the information is 2 weeks old now). I think O'Rourke can pull it off but it'll be close. Cruz is going to need Trump to come save him.

They must be very nervous after the Willie Nelson rally this weekend.
I read that it was the biggest turnout for a single candidate since 2016.

Yeah. Cruz is a little worried. Wasn't the burglery thing a college prank? I can't remember.

Totally agree. Bottom line - just OWN it. Whatever you did in college - whatever your faults - just OWN it.

Mrs. Bush did. She killed a person in her teens. And she goes around talking to HS students about it.

I like it.

Well, given low turn-out rates for younger voters . . .

The only thing that matters is in the voting booth, most of us want nothing to do with carrying signs, screaming and protesting people because we have careers, families and we appreciate our privacy. I'm not the kind of guy who takes kindly to people who attack politicians and their wives/families in public, that's why I would never put a political bumper sticker on my car or sign in my yard because if someone were stupid enough to in any way aggressively approach me or my family because of it I'd end up in handcuffs. There are millions of Americans just like me out here who just want to be left alone.

That's odd, I've seen numbers ranging from 17K right after the event to now 63K from Beto supporters looking to inflate the numbers of those who attended.

The crowd size was reported as 55,000 in the press.

Willie Nelson pulled in 75,000+ PAID attendees at the Houston Rodeo last year and the cheapest tickets are $26 each, you're telling me Beto couldn't get at least that many people to show up for a free Willie Nelson concert in AUSTIN?
