Something like that. Really, quite a good response.
I sort of like Melania...the way she passive aggressively is able to throw shade on her husband. I think that one of the reasons that Trump attacked Heidi Cruz is jealousy. He knows that no woman who has as much on the ball overall (Education, intelligence, approach to health, and many other things) as Heidi Cruz does would ever give him the time of day .

(I know that the 'he' in the bolded above = Senator Cruz)

^^^

Although it looks like Beto has momentum, I still see him as a long shot. Only four more weeks remaining, so he needs to bridge the gap soon.

I'll send another donation his way and probably volunteer again next week.

I beg your pardon.

The Houston Chronicle did a piece about Beto and the DWI and the witness saying he tried to leave the scene weeks ago.

According to the police report an unnamed witness says he tried to leave the scene. He says he didn't. No word from the passenger who was in the car with him. The police report doesn't say the police officer stopped him from leaving, and he wasn't charged with attempting to leave.

Drunk driving is inexcusable and Beto hasn't tried to make an excuses for it.

Wonder how many of you crooning for Beto actually watched the debate? I watched on C-span and thought Cruz kicked Beto's butt. Can't imagine Texans listening to Beto during that debate would believe he's the better candidate. He needs to do much better in the other two debates to have a chance against Cruz.

I would like to see some new polling on this race. The last polls I can find were done just prior to the debate

Default Whatawhatever! It'll Just Be A What-a-Victory For Cruz

Beto O'Rogue is just another evil Democrat savage. Just because lipstick is being put on a pig doesn't make it any less of one. Ted Cruz will cruise to victory in Texas, as Texas values, border security, doing the right thing, a booming economy, and integrity always win.

And anybody who's anybody can go to Whataburger....

Beto is an empty suit. He's never held a real job, never successfully turned any issue into a piece of legislation and has no original ideas, only routine party dogma.

New Poll just came out ...... it is long (67 Pages) and fairly comprehensive. Several of the questions are very subjective - like the Immigration & gun questions. The poll is weighted of course and then never tell you how it's weighted. Sometimes you can get an idea of some of it. This is one of those "pool" polls and they do them out of the same pool to see changes.

I read thru the entire thing and people will take the things they like and discount the things they don't.
Result is given as Cruz +6
Read all the questions and pay particular attention to the Likely voters - my guess is that Cruz is probably closer to 10-12+. I think you will notice that the "women's vote" is not a factor in Texas.
Texas women tend to be both Independent and very sturdy -- not really much of the Victim Mentality.
( Texas women like guns also .... and shoot them )

"Is immigration an important issue to you?"
Nothing to indicated why it might me important.
1). do you like open borders/sanctuary cities
2) do you want secure borders

Same thing with Gun Policy .... no clue about whether they want gun control or fear gun control.
(it's Texas, I'm guessing pro-2nd amendment). I'm also guessing it could be pro-border controls - 2 reasons - high % concerned about gangs and violence. A high % of the border crossings are coming from Central America gang violence areas).
