NBC article

https://targetearly.targetsmart.com/index.html - detailed numbers.

Other than NV, advantage to Republicans in every battleground state.

don't get too excited about early voting. It may not mean a damn thing. I usually voted on election day because it was more fun, but chose to vote early this year. Standing in a 3 hour line on election day ain't fun anymore. My vote isn't from a new or unlikely voter, I always vote, just an early vote.

It's not truly a battle between Democrats and Republicans... it's a battle between Individualist and Collectivist ideologies.

The Collectivists will loose.

I totally agree. If there is a large number of early voters, chances are tomorrow will have a lower than expected number since many people have already voted.
No one should be counting their chickens before they've hatched.

If I understand the NBC article correctly, the results show party affiliation of voters, not how the votes themselves were cast. That may or may not be significant, depending upon how many people cross party lines.

That's all early numbers can show. The votes are not counted until the night of the election day.

Line crossing.

Hmmm.

My bet is on more GOP line crossers.

Well, that is what I have always thought, but the whole "stunning results" headline made it sound as if there were some actual results being reported, ya know?

Maybe so but I'm not seeing people cross party lines on this or any other forum or any discussions in real life. In fact, it seems to me that people are sticking to party line more than ever and unwilling to even consider crossing over.

Personal observations are almost completely meaningless.
