Great timing on this. I was just telling my wife the other day that it was about time for Trump to do a rally. It will be a much needed infusion for his bruised and battered ego, after the results of the elections.
Haha. Nope. It's golf and vacation at Maralago time.
And no way Trump will do a rally around here because he has to drive past all the protesters.
I doubt his ego is bruised, considering he increased his lead in the Senate, and the President has only done that 5 times in the last 105 years.
Trump's rallies had an 80% success rate in the midterms, so the more rallies he does the better.
Whereas in 2010 Obama lost 63 House seats and 6 Senate seats.
BTW Obama/Oprah campaigned in Georgia, and lost.
The difference is Obama inherited the worst recession since the great depression, an abysmal housing market, stock market, and soaring unemployment. Meanwhile trump inherited a booming economy, low unemployment, and a good housing market. Yet in the house winch as a whole represents the entire country Trump has lost almost 40 freaking seats that's unprecedented not to mention a terrible job approval rating with a booming economy you can't tell me this isn't pathetic. What's even more funny after 2010, and 63 seats lost in 2012 the country spoke again and guess who got elected once more?
Walmart withdraws donation to GOP Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith after criticism
Walmart on Tuesday said it was "requesting a refund" from the campaign of GOP Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith after the company came under pressure to distance itself from the Mississippi lawmaker's "public hanging" remark.
Campaign finance records show that the company made a $2,000 donation on Nov. 18, nearly a week after Hyde-Smith was caught on video saying she would be "on the front row" if a supporter invited her to "a public hanging." Records also show the company gave a $1,000 contribution to her campaign this past June.
The retail giant announced its decision to withdraw its support in response to actress Debra Messing, who tweeted about the issue on Monday.
"Hi Debra. Completely understand your concern. Sen. Hyde-Smith's recent comments clearly do not reflect the values of our company and associates. As a result, we are withdrawing our support and requesting a refund of all campaign donations," the company said in a tweet.
In a photo posted to her Facebook account in 2014, Hyde-Smith was pictured posing with Confederate artifacts. The caption on the post read, "Mississippi history at its best!"
Hyde-Smith, who will face former Democratic Rep. Mike Espy in a Nov. 27 runoff election, posted the caption after touring Beauvoir, the home and library of Confederate President Jefferson Davis. In the post, Hyde-Smith appears in four photos posing with Confederate rifles, soldiers' hats and documents.
