Hanging chads was a statewide thing. There was another issue with people thinking they voted for Gore and wound up voting for Buchanan, though that was in Palm Beach. Florida had another issue that election with a voter purge of voters removed with blank, future conviction dates as well as segregation era related crimes

Actually it was only a Palm Beach county thing since every county in the state is its own election board. They get to design their own ballots still.
