In order to secure my vote, Trump’s opponent simply needs to show up.

I'm American who has lived abroad for twenty years, and who has no intention of returning. I used to vote by absentee ballot every election. This year I thought about it, and I decided that an eighty-year-old living permanently abroad shouldn't be telling people "over there" who will be deciding the future of their country.

So, I did not enroll in a party, nor did I use an absentee ballot, and I will not vote again in a U.S. election.

What is Alec Baldwin doing on this list? He's an actor.... AKA a reader of lines written by other people. He's also a mental case and an all around dirt bag. Alec Baldwin wouldn't get 200 votes, nationwide. After seeing his name I also scanned for Robert Deniro's name - but it's not there.

Too many people like YOU..... knew nothing about Obama either - or what you did know, you disregarded. That's how we got the charismatic rock star in there in 2008, and he had 8 years to do his damage. I suggest you do your homework next time.

Rather humorous to see someone who voted for and supports a reality TV person as President, lecture someone else about how wrong they might be in how they would make their choice of who to vote for as President.

This discussion is academic since, as the best President we have seen for at very least 55 years, Donald Trump will be re-elected. Easily. Reagan '84 style. Except that Trump is a much better President than Reagan was.

The poll numbers thus far reflect this and it is heartening to see so much sensibility in a CD poll.

I won't go that far. But he has undone quite a bit of the damage of his predecessor, and his America First philosophy is a refreshing change. He has had too much turnover in his administration, although I'm glad that Mattis and Kelly are still around. I really need to see where we are in another year and a half before committing to voting for him again.

I could see myself voting for Huntsman. He's definitely preferable to a lot of the other R's.

I don't think Bloomberg would win, but he's a smart, pragmatic Independent that I think would make a great President.

Lots of damage to America's middle class was done long before Trump's predecessor. And a major chunk of it happened on Reagan's watch. Reagan himself wasn't the driver, but Reagan let it happen. And Trump has a lot more work to do today in restoring America because of it.

No one but Trump is up to the task. No one is even close. The people know that and the vote will reflect it.
