btw.. you need better (less biased) links than "thinkprogress" and the communist "motherjones"
True statement. I hope you're also helpfully reminding some of our frequent right-wing posters about their heavy reliance on gatewaypundit.com and breitbart. At least 2 threads today were outright lies by those sites, but I don't see anyone on the right chastising them about it.
Not really shocking, both sides engage in this stuff despite claims by some that it never happens and if it does....it's only the other party that does so.
Just like cries about gerrymandering. Bunch of you ran like roaches from those threads when I brought up Maryland as an example. Lol.

Chris Kobach is not doing anything right now, maybe he can start investigation all that Dem voter fraud again.
Any discussion of voting rights and fraud has to start with one quote - from the Founder of the Heritage Foundation and, by extension, much of the conservative movement:
" I don't want everybody to vote. Elections are not won by a majority of people, they never have been from the beginning of our country and they are not now. As a matter of fact, our leverage in the elections quite candidly goes up as the voting populace goes down." P. Weyrich
Think about it. We have a situation now where the voting populace is going UP. What do conservatives do about that??
Well, the answer is quite clear and has been going on for a while now.
You can't start with "they are all the same" or "both sides do it" because that is a false equivalency. It's not liberals who start the discussions here about only people with property voting...and it's not liberals who made that quote.
These is no liberal I can think of who equates to the influence of founding of the Heritage Foundation, but if there were you would not find that quote in his speeches.
I believe what the man says...is what he means. If you do too, then you have to approach these stories with that in mind.
