Poor Joe. Obama apparently tried to suggest to him that he might be better off not running. In this case, it does not seem to me that Obama was being spiteful. Rather, he just knew that Joe was not really up to the task. Which it pretty clearly appears that he isn't. He is too old and needs to retire.

Joe should have listened to O. Now how is he going to get out of this mess without embarrassing himself, or worse?

Is there room for one more? There better be, because Michael Bloomberg is preparing to enter the race.

Mike Bloomberg is preparing to enter the Democratic presidential primary

Mike Bloomberg, the billionaire former mayor of New York, is preparing to enter the Democratic presidential primary, according to NBC News, which cited a Bloomberg advisor.

The move didn’t necessarily mean Bloomberg, 77, was announcing a campaign, a source close to Bloomberg told NBC News. Rather, this source said, he’s doing this to keep his options open. Bloomberg is “troubled” by what he has seen in the Democratic field, the source added.
This is very timely indeed, because Joe Biden is starting to fade. He would be fading more if there were a somewhat centrist leaning alternative to fill the void the Joe Biden vacating the race would leave. And Michel Bloomberg just might be that candidate.

This could be very interesting. If Bloomberg were to become the the nominee for the Democrats, that would make two New York City billionaires facing off in the general election.

Buttigieg would be the centrist leaning alternative if Biden were to fade.

So Bloomberg must not think he is presidential material or experienced enough.

Another 77 year old white guy... with the CT village idiot, his son. Also known as baggage.

Bloomers is acting like a free agent. However, he would make the "most" centrist rational dem candidate. He would not alter the nation in an irreparable fashion.

I also know he can be a wolf in sheep clothing... typical dem.

He started out great as NYC mayor but got really weird as time went on; his blitz against soda and sweeteners for example. Not a mayor's job.
