It's spelled SENDERO Luminoso, so you are either being sarcastic, or stretching the truth , to be kind.
Did you storm the Winter Palace in St Petersburg as well, in 1917?

Tucker Carlson believes it's very possible Michelle Obama gets into the race soon.

Knowing how stupid this country has become, they would probably elect her.

I shutter to even think of it...

New Hampshire (RCP Poll Average)

How the wannabe mighty have fallen.

But still motoring along in second like the energizer bunny, is the self described "Socialist" Bernie Sanders. Everyone else is just hanging on for dear life.

If this is how they enter the voting in just over two months (68 days), this is going to be a lot of fun to watch.

I don't have a horse in this race, but I am amazed by the staying power of Bernie/his supporters.

From the Washington Post:
What happened to Elizabeth Warren?

Two things stand out pretty clearly in many of those charts: Warren’s drop and Buttigieg’s increase. Among “very liberal” respondents, both Biden and Buttigieg appear to have gained at Warren’s expense. Her support among moderates, once respectable, collapsed entirely. It’s worth noting that the shift against Warren came after significant focus on her approach to Medicare-for-all — which Quinnipiac suggests has relatively low support among Democratic moderates.

Buttigieg didn’t gain any ground among black Democrats (something his campaign is no doubt concerned about), but he did see a marked increase among whites, primarily at Warren’s expense. He also gained from Warren’s plunge among voters over 65, while Warren’s drop among younger voters was to Biden’s benefit.

Over and over, the pattern is the same: Warren goes down and Buttigieg goes up.

Mayor Pete, under fire as a racist by Whoopi Goldberg and the ladies of 'The View,' who appear to believe that Mayor Pete 'Needs to get a little more woke'.

Quote:
'The View' pans Mayor Pete's past comments on race: 'Needs to get a little more woke'

"The View" co-hosts derided Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg's comments on race, suggesting that he needed to get a "little more woke" as a 2020 presidential candidate.

"You're motivated because you believe that at the end of your educational process, there is a reward, there is a stable life, there is a job," Buttigieg previously said. "And a lot of kids -- especially the lower income, minority neighborhoods -- who literally just haven't seen it work. There isn't somebody they know personally who testifies to the value of education."

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg indicated that Buttigieg's comments were another indication that racism still existed. "Is this just a reminder that this does exist in the world? That's why people like Colin Kaepernick are kneeling, that's why people are protesting, that's why Black Lives Matter came out," she said.
As weak as his support has been among the critically important black community, this does not look very helpful.

When a leading Democrat has Whoopi Goldberg callling them out as a racist just over two months before the first primary votes are cast in Iowa, that has to be a concern, not only to Mayor Pete, but to anyone who is primarily concerned with seeing the Democrats put forward a nominee who is strong enough politically to be competitive with Donald Trump next November.

But he is currently leading in the RCP Poll Average in both Iowa and New Hampshire, two states that are notorious for having low levels of black voters compared to other states.

If the Democrats actually do narrowly vote to impeach President Trump in the House, the timing of the trial in the Senate - probably during February and perhaps into March of 2020 - will be gift for the currently rising Mayor Pete Buttigieg, who ends his mayoral term in South Bend on December 31, 2019.

Quote:
Impeachment set to leave Buttigieg as only top-tier 2020 Democrat campaigning full time

The end of Pete Buttigieg’s term as mayor of South Bend, Indiana, on Dec. 31 comes at a fortuitous time for him in the Democratic presidential race, freeing him from mayoral obligations a full month before the first state nominating contests begin while his competitors tend to Washington obligations.

Buttigieg, 37, will become a full-time candidate as most of his primary competitors are due to be pulled away from Iowa and New Hampshire so they can sit in the Senate observing impeachment proceedings against President Trump. Joe Biden, 77, is the only other top-tier candidate able to campaign unrestricted, but he has been sticking to what one Democrat described as an "old man schedule."

If the House impeaches Trump before Congress’s winter recess, a Senate trial could take place around the Feb. 3 Iowa caucuses and Feb. 11 New Hampshire primary. That severely complicates a crucial time period for the six senators seeking the Democratic presidential nomination: Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, Bernie Sanders of Vermont, Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, Kamala Harris of California, Cory Booker of New Jersey, and Michael Bennet of Colorado.
The timing of the trial will leave Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Amy Kolbuchar, Kamala Harris and Corey Booker stranded in the Senate during this time frame. Meanwhile, with national frontrunner Joe Biden is maintaining a part-time, "Old man schedule," therefore off the campaign trail.

This will leave Mayor Pete as the only tier one or tier two candidate on the campaign trail full time as the primary elections begin in earnest. In fact, the first four primaries are all scheduled in February (Iowa - 2/3, New Hampshire 3/11, Nevada 3/22, South Carolina 3/29). This contest will then shift immediately into high gear, as half of all states (25) will have voted by March 10, 2020, with Super Tuesday on March 3 and another big primary day on March 10.

Here is a link to the primary schedule: https://www.270towin.com/2020-election-calendar/

Anyone who thinks that this trial is likely to finish before March 10 is almost assuredly fooling themselves. And Mayor Pete looks to be the clear beneficiary.

Former Congressman Joe Sestak of PA has dropped out of his longshot bid. Sestak entered in June and never gained and traction and did not qualify for any debates.
