Amy Klobuchar has apparently withdrawn her name for consideration to be Joe Biden's vice presidential nominee.

Amy Klobuchar withdraws from Biden VP selection to make room for ‘woman of color’

Sen. Amy Klobuchar announced Thursday she was removing herself as a candidate to be former Vice President Joe Biden’s vice presidential pick.

Klobuchar told MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell she called Biden Wednesday evening with her decision, saying she believes “this is a moment to put a woman of color on that ticket."

Biden pledged earlier this year to pick a woman to be his running mate and is currently considering about a half dozen candidates, including several women of color.
If there was any lingering doubt about the Democrat party being the party of racism, this pretty well clinches it. Not that there really was any doubt. But for anyone who was waiting for further confirmation of this well established fact, here it is.

Your response makes absolutely no sense in this context.

Seems to me Trump supporters (and Trump himself) are getting very nervous about his re-election prospects and are grasping at straws.

Um... Amy has her own bag of issues in Minnesota and for the record, I don't think she was "blocking" anyone out.

It sounds like you don’t have a clue what racism is!

Labour Leader Keir Starmer says Prince Andrew should be cooperating with the FBI regarding the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, and that it is strange that he is not doing so.

Trump chooses distraction politics over leadership

(CNN)President Donald Trump headed into the hot zone of Miami-Dade County, Florida, on Friday intent on creating an alternate reality as the coronavirus ravages the United States. He wore no mask, showed no sense of remorse about the rushed reopening that has plunged the nation's health care system back into chaos, and barely mentioned the virus.

By the time he returned to the White House that night, Trump had commuted the sentence of his longtime friend Roger Stone, who'd been pleading for relief, arguing the coronavirus would be a death sentence if he had to report to prison (as he was scheduled to next week).
In thumbing his nose at justice -- intervening on behalf of a former political adviser who was convicted of crimes that included lying to Congress in part, prosecutors said, to protect the President -- Trump continued turning a blind eye to the Americans for whom coronavirus has actually been a death sentence.

Do you have any problem with the non-socially distanced and unmasked "protesters" destroying our cities and spreading coronavirus in the process? Are they "thumbing their nose" at "justice."

Cities?
I've seen some neighborhoods damaged, but no city has been destroyed. That destruction always happens in a riot, and the city always recovers.

And when was the last riot? There haven't been any for a while now. Lots of demonstrations, though, and they are going to continue for sure.

Know the difference. A riot is one thing, and a demonstration another.

The second is protected by our Constitution. 'Thumbing their nose' is as much a part of the American way as voting is, buddy.

Justice is what the people determine here, not some dictate from a wannabe dictator.
