The Donald’s response

—
"Howard Schultz doesn't have the 'guts' to run for President!" Trump tweeted. "Watched him on @60Minutes last night and I agree with him that he is not the 'smartest person.'"

He added: "Besides, America already has that! I only hope that Starbucks is still paying me their rent in Trump Tower!"

I think the likely result of Schultz thinking of running will be we'll see just how quickly the (D)s and (R)s can join hands to defend their stranglehold on the White House from outsiders.

Could this be the start?

Regardless of what one thinks about Starbucks, there is no denying its success.

Schultz comes from a humble background and his self- made US success story.

Thinking he needs someone with DC experience, preferably a Republican, as a partner.

Wonder if Bloomberg would fund a solid Independent ticket?

If Election Day were next month, I don’t think Trump would win. Given the election is 23 months into the future, who knows?
I didn't watch his 60 minutes interview but he is trying to run as a centrist independent,he thinks AOC,Sanders,Warren are nuts with their medicare for all and free college and guaranteed jobs schtick. He will insure President Trump wins so PLEASE RUN!

From what I have read he is more in line with the democrats on those. He is a SJW candidate...he is oddly trying to run AWAY from the racial, gender etc stuff HE pushed as CEO of starbucks...odd.

Absolutely. I think thats why they are disrupting Trump also. I mean I wonder why they couldnt come up with bills for healthcare or border security but could come easily for estate tax repeal and deficit spending tax bill.

They could have atleast called Kevin spacey for help, he made the education bill look easy.

Trump also shows his "patriotism" which is a no no for many because business has no borders.

Schultz is just another billionaire liberal globalist, unlike H. Ross Perot who ran on a platform of reversing massive US trade deficits and garnered 19% of the votes in 1992.

Me too.

He could be a disrupter.

Age on Inauguration Day, 2021, if elected:

Trump- 73 ( Same age as Reagan was at the start of his second term and evidence of dementia was apparent to family and insiders)

Bloomberg - Nearly 78

Sanders - 78

Biden - 77

From an outward physical standpoint, Trump appears the least healthy. He may have a genetic predisposition to Alzheimer’s, given his father’s diagnosis.
