If the Democrat party didn’t go so far to the left he most likely would be running Democrat .
But he doesn’t want to associate himself with individuals like Ocasio-Cortez , people that are very anti business.

Being anti business is actually anti worker too since so many people work for businesses .
The math is projected to not be good but that is through thinktanks, not the CBO. The major one was by a libertarian group and that came out around July last year. This is like if left leaning thinktanks attacked Trump's tax plan (which actually was true.) I say let the CBO look into it and until then we can only debate it and nobody is more right or wrong.

As for running more left, running more right has worked for the Republicans. Maybe just maybe, the Democrats finally realized the extreme is how you win. Now besure anyone tries saying Obama and Hillary were far left, it was more center-left. In fact Clinton was ruled more right than Trump, though Trump was ruled more authoritative than Hillary.

How come no left leaning think tanks have any data on it ?

Not sure that the Republicans are more right . If you are talking about immigration there are many clips of Bill Clinton , Obama and other Dems talking about how bad illegal immigration is .

It’s just that the media has twisted everything to make it seem like If one isn’t open borders then one is a racist and xenophobiic and all sorts of other bad things .

I guess they haven't crushed the numbers or put forth findings. Let's face it, until 2021 the earliest, putting forth data on projections for Medicare for all would be fruitless. However, conservatives and libertarians could easily use that to show it doesn't work and wouldn't work to support their bias against it.

As for Republicans going more to the right, you are cherry picking and it is widely seen that the right has gone even more right since Bush left ten years ago. Just look at the Tea Party inspired Republicans we have seen in the last decade.

Hey Elliot, thanks for linking to a leftwing website that used a democratic polling organization to tell everyone how much Schultz is disliked....so um, don't consider him.

Here is from Change Research's mission statement...they're the people the Hill used to write up their opinion piece masquerading as news.

You might want to avoid "the Hill" as a source for serious facts in the future considering the fast one they just pulled on you....or maybe not.

Oh well, at least you didn't link to an unnamed blog claiming Schultz sexually assaulted them while wearing blackface and kicking a puppy.
