I was thinking - it's kind of curious that the minor "news" broke about Amy Klobuchar being "abusive" in making her staff cry, which seemed to be spear-headed by Fox. (I couldn't help remembering when I once saw a high-ranking corporate senior VP cry after a difficult meeting.) It then "coincidentally" immediately led to a post here by NewbieHere (though no longer a newbie), citing no sources, about "mistreatment" and wondering if this would sabotage her chances for the future.

As most Democrats know by now, Republicans seem to have been playing a long game of underhandedly going after Dems for decades now, and clearly AK made a good impression at the Kavanaugh hearings, as someone strong and articulate.

So, is it just me, or does this smack of a calculated effort to undermine her, to poison the well beforehand, knowing that she was about to declare her candidacy? If she is indeed harsh, it's been likely going on for years - but the story breaks just as she's announcing her plans to run?

You realize that’s Klobuchar news came from
The Huffington Post right? Is that a Republican site?

More likely opposition research from one of the dems. A too crowded field makes its very difficult for the majority of the candidates to fund raise, raise their visibility, even be heard. Culling the herd.

It is to President Trump's and his fellow Republicans benefit to have a messy and drawn out primary amongst the opposition.

Actually, I believe it surfaced first on Fox. But, yes, I did notice it was on unexpected sites, too. But the question is, at least in part, is it part of a Republican ploy to start the "news" right now as she declares her candidacy? I mean, regardless of the news outlet.

Strong and articulate, eh? She came off as a donkey's arse. Staff complaints about her appear to be truthful based on the tenor and tone of her speech in public.

1. Does ANYBODY wonder why a news story (or even a "news story" - depending on its veracity) would be published on "unexpected sites"?

Does ANYBODY question anymore, why the media is made up of a bunch of lying, low life, agenda driven, ass sucking morons?

2. Could be a R ploy. Likely its a D ploy. Just ask yourself who has most to gain at this point re: weakening someone running for the Democrat ticket?
