Because she was (seemed) nice and as someone who knows of her, it was interesting meeting her in person.
But assuming she is as she acted there in real life, it still doesn’t matter.
Reagan was a nice person, jimmy carter was a nice person, Bush was a nice person, even Eisenhower was a nice. And they all promoted the corporate state and committed atrocities abroad.
Americans care too much about personality instead of rhetoric and policy. And her rhetoric about being a bipartisan ‘centrist’ played into all the tropes about imperial politics and a corporate economy.
