He wants to get democrats to unify behind promoting corporate control and neo-liberal economics like Bill Clinton did in the 90s.

And it will work.
Just like Bill Clinton? You mean the guy who presided over a booming economy, a balanced budget and no major wars? How insidious!

Bill Clinton was horrible, he set up the financial crisis, he overturned anti-trust laws to promote corporate growth and society has turned into a rich eat all system.

Clinton bombed hospitals and gave power to banks and insurance companies to go after small businesses and families.

The Boom you're talking about ended with the tech bubble, and he set up China to join the WTO and passed NAFTA. All these went on to destroy small towns in America, set up the opioid crisis, and turned our society into a materialist one with little freedoms.

He was the worst president since McKinley and had he stayed in office for a bit longer, he would have been hated.

He takes actual punitive action against states that did not vote for him.

But, yeah, Biden's comment was fairly awful. That's one.
And Biden recently called an element of Trump supporters "DREGS" similar to Hillary's "DEPLORABLES". Yeah, that's unity. The Trump economy, energy policy and other initiatives are helping ALL Americans. You just have TDS and can't see it.

Not sure how the man who falsely called Mitt Romney a racist in 2012 and he is falsely accusing Trump of racism now is going to unite anybody.

He's trying to divide people by race for political reasons.

He'll unite democrats because democrats love Obama and are uninformed like the rest of the country.
