Plagiarism charge hits Biden climate change plan

Former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign came under fire on Tuesday for putting out a $1.7 trillion climate change plan that included passages identical to previously published documents, in an echo of the plagiarism scandal that helped drive him from the 1988 presidential race....

Yes, Creepy Veep Joe never met an idea he didn't steal. What's so crazy about this is that he has soooo much baggage and yet is still the strongest Dim candidate at this point. Really, he can't possibly be the best they (DNC) can offer.

Tulsi Gabbard would make a great nominee, but the MSM won't give her the time of day.

Next thing you know Creepy Joe will be saying that he helped Al Gore invent the internet.

I'll still vote for him if he is on the ticket. Just consider the alternative.

He's worse.

Why, he'll sell out to China and give big corporations free control.

Trump is talking about breaking big tech and has emboldened left wing democrats and state leaders to move progressive ideas. Once Biden in charge it will return to the Obama era where the party leader silences left wing voices and goes back to neo-liberal policies.

Michael Medved covered this on his show today. He said he considered it relatively minor. Someone just forgot to include citations for material that was lifted for Biden's paper.

The 1988 plagiarism incident was an order of magnitude worse. There he copied from a speech by Brit politician Neil Kinnock. This does bring back that incident and resulting embarrassment. I think it also bespeaks incompetence in his campaign. If you can't run a campaign, how can you run the country?

Here's a pretty good comparison of the Kinnock speech and Biden's knock-off of it:

In his book Secret Empires by Peter Schweitzer, he has several chapters on Biden's dealings with China and Ukraine. A researcher is quoted in the book as speculating that the Ukraine dealings may have made the Biden family into billionaires. This took place when Biden was VP.

It appears that Biden's son Hunter got a bunch of sweetheart deals involving Ukrainian oil/gas enterprises, while VP Joe was negotiating with them for foreign aid and other considerations from US gov't.

I read briefly about Hunter's activities and they seem bad, really bad.

I just hope democrats can wake up and realize Joe is not the answer. I will never vote for him under any circumstance.

I share your hope. Right now I just don't see any strong horse in the rest of the field. Trump is the weakest GOP presidential candidate in my lifetime, and it looks like he may win two terms.
