Bob.
I think Democrats who recognize the importance of the Electoral College would be very pleased if the Trump campaign chooses to focus on California instead of the swing states. In reality, his campaign managers are not going to allocate his time towards a state that the Democratic nominee will carry regardless of the national outcome. Certainly he will rail against blue state politicians at his rallies ... which will be predominantly located in the red areas of purple states.

Trump will keep all the other states that he has won.

Democrats are in a bad state of denial.
Maine, maybe, New Hampshire, maybe. Minnesota, no.

The reason why is simple, where is he going to get the votes ?????

lets assume the nominee matches Clinton, that means he needs 45,000 votes to beat the nominee

using the percentages from this website

How was Minnesota voter turnout by county? Here are the results - StarTribune.com.

Trump would have to have nearly 100% turnout in the rural areas and keep down the Democrat to even get close to that.
