Many of the rust belt states/cities have been revived to some extent by Trumps tariff's and tax breaks/incentives for US manufacturing. You think those people are going to vote dem and say "yes lets re-export my job I want to be back on food stamps" ?

If that was true, why are his approval ratings so poor in these rust belt states?

Not looking good for Trump in most of the rust belt right now.
The only rust belt state he's in positive territory in is Indiana. And, if you count Missouri as a rust belt state, that one too.

And it goes without saying he's way under water in Illinois.

No one wants open borders. Deported yes - criminally charged - NO because that is what Trump used to initiate his 'family separation' policy while we hold the families here in a variety of Trump camps.

They did say free medical to illegals (which they already receive if they show up at an ER) but I agree - they are DEFINITELY going to have to temper that.

We should all remember what the Democrats are pitching. They are keeping the so called Race wars going and the perpetual "victim hood" with the talk of Reparations, promoting alternative lifestyles which is fine but we do not need it shoveled at us and I would add abortion Rights to that and the Biggie is they are championing for the Rights of ILLEGAL ALIENS with the promise of FREE healthcare for them while so many citizens are in need.

These issues alone should drive people, even if it is with reluctance to Trump.

Trump hasn't done jack for fly over country as more and more companies and manufactorers continue shutter and now, farmers are underwater too.

But she has never said that.

Right or wrong Minnesota will see Ilhan Omar as the hate filled face of the Democrat party and she'll help push us all the way right this time.

Rust belt people are common sense types and they can get what Trump is doing and saying. It's a big turn off for many.

They also aren't as hung up on abortion and gay marriage as voters in the South are. Southern evangelical Christian voters, which are Trump's base, are welded to the GOP because of these issues. It's not so up in the rust belt.

Kamala Harris has stated she owns a firearm. She might actually have more appeal to voters on that issue than you think.
