Oh, please. She had those attacks on Biden preplanned. When she has to speak off the cuff, she giggles are hems and haws.
Thje secondary aspect is that in a Dem primary Biden couldn't call out the one woman of color running or dismiss her feelings/experiences. It was a no win. Trump will not only dismiss them but bring up how that line of concern does not even match her own previous positions or choices.
If someone forcefully challenges Harris, it will not be Biden. he wins nothing by fighting down. I expect it to be someone from the left who would question her on a host of her decisions as a prosecutor or her wavering on health care issues. No one noticed but she was forced to 'clarify' on insurance yet again.
She is doing well in big moments but failing the small ones.
I think stripping Biden of AA support was the only way to get into the race but it also creates a big problem if she makes it through and is only associated with issues of race. This election will probably come down to health care, economics, and demeanor as judged by middle and working class voters in a couple of Rustbelt states. If Harris becomes a niche candidate and those issues are not her niche she will have the same vulnerability as Clinton.
She's currently only at 11%. Never mind she isn't even eligible to run (not a 'natural born citizen' ...but who cares about the Constitution?) She's just an "anchor baby."
